Sphinx

The steaks were wonderful. They dry age their steaks in house. They have a wide selection of steaks and specials. They also have a very wide selection of wines and alcohols. I had a very nice nonalcoholic tea (pictured). The staff were friendly and offered an English menu.

I had a 320g strip steak (for UK readers this is what we call 'sirloin') on Wednesday 17th April at this lovely restaurant. My charming waiter, Andrzej, explained that the chef had set up a small promotion show-casing local dry-aged Poznan beef. The steak was totally delicious, meltingly tender and wonderfully flavoursome. It was also cooked really precisely to just under medium-rare, which is what I like. While 'Sphinx' is a chain, and a pretty good one as far as i can tell, the chef's decision to set up this promotion showed real imagination. I had a lovely meal of local produce, a couple of glasses of good red wine and I can't really criticise anything. Thanks to the chef for having this great idea, and thanks to Andrzej for patiently answering my questions. I will return! Tim

Very nice place worth to visit. Very good food, seasonal menu, great steaks, broad selection of drinks. Nice and willing personell. Distinctive atmosphere inside with separated seating boxes.

Really great service of our table of 10. Our waitress spoke fluent English which made the experience even better. Huge portions and delish food. Great value.

Everything is great here! Good selection of dishes and reasonable prices. Fast and quality service - especially the waiter Andriy. It is cozy and clean. Great restaurant!

Nice place. The food was delicious, and we went here twice during our trip. The atmosphere is a mixed party place and cozy dinner surroundings.

I would like to say that this is the best Sphinx for me. I was in at least 5 different restaurants like that. This one has great atmosphere, service which is able to work without issues with full load and the food is great.

Friendly staff, fast service and good food at a good price. The kitchen staff really know how to prepare a steak, I recommend the tomahawk! Bonus points for the staff because they let us in 15min before opening, otherwise we had to wait outside in the rain.

The restaurant is a good place for girls night out and reunion. Ambience is lovely. Food is good but you can hear others talking or laughing loud. Not perfect for meetings.

Pricey but they always are making exception for my kid diet and prepare him what he want and can eat. Thanks for flexibility.
