First some think of zoo,but it is a pheasantry (Pheasantry is a pheasantry and breeding center for several species of pheasants situated in Bannu District, Pakistan). On Dec 24: NWFP Chief Minister Akram Khan Durrani has inaugurated a pheasantry in Bannu, set up by the NWFP Wildlife Department at a cost of Rs 4 million🤯. In the pheasantry, established over an area of one acre of land in Bannu Township, pheasants of 20 different species are kept for providing healthy recreational facility to people of the area and creating awareness about wildlife. The pheasantry will also be used for increasing the population of wild birds.It has been set up for the purposes of research, conservation, tourism, and education. The pheasantry has around 250 exhibits providing shelter to around 1500 birds.
