Amroti Masjid

The Mosque's foundation was laid by spiritual scholar Syed Taj Mehmood Shah. In 1923 when British govt decided to build Kirther Canal to facilitate people of Balochistan with irrigation, but on this place a village "junejo village" and this Mosque were creating issues in the way of its constructiin junejo village vacated by British govt, later issued Syed Taj Mehmood Shah notice to vacate the mosque but local people resist for demolishing this mosque meanwhile British govt sought assistance from engrs dept. to find alternative way for construction later on Tah Shah allowed them to proceed but Mosque was not demolished. A small bridge was contracted on seven pillars for building a mosque then this Mosque became popular by the name of "PAANI WAALI MASJID".

This old mosque is worth visiting in Amrot Village. It is few kilometers away from Mirzapur village near Madeji Sindh Pakistan. It was built when British would rule India.

A very peaceful place, Masjid is MashaAllah worth watching.

یہ کافی پرانی مسجد ہے اور ایک بڑی نہر کے اوپر ہے۔اس کے بارے میں بتایا جاتا ہے کہ انگریزوں نے اپنے دور حکومت میں اس کو گرانے کا فیصلہ کیا کہ یہ نہر کے درمیان میں واقع ہے۔ یہ اور اس میں جانے والا راستہ پانی کے بہاؤ میں روکاوٹ ہے۔ قطب الاقطاب حضرت تاج محمود امروٹی رحمت اللہ علیہ نے اسکی مخالفت کی کہا کہ آپ کے قانون میں بھی کسی کی عبادت گاہ کو گرانا منع ہے۔ انگریزوں نے کہا کہ ہم آپ کو نہر کے کنارے پر مسجد کے لیے جگہ دیتے ہیں اور مسجد بھی بنا کر دیتے ہیں۔مگر مولانا تاج محمود امروٹی صاحب اس پر نا مانے۔انگریز نے اپنے فیصلے پر کاروائی کرنے کا فیصلہ کرلیا۔مولانا تاج تاج محمود امروٹی صاحب نے اپنے عقیدت مندوں سے کہا کہ یہاں پر بیٹھ جائیں اور مسجد کی حفاظت کریں۔عقیدت مند اللہ کا ذکر کرتے رہے اور انگریز جو ہیوی مشینری لے کر مسجد کے قریب آتا ہیوی مشینری فیل ہو جاتی۔بالآخر تھک کر انہوں نے ہار مان لی۔ مسجد کو دو بڑے پلروں پر بنا دیا اور راستہ کے لیے پل بھی بنا دیا ۔ اب پانی مسجد کے نیچے سے گزرتا ہے
