Had a fantastic time at the National Museum of Pakistan! The antiques displayed there show the history and culture of our country and especially the Indus civilization beautifully. I loved looking at ancient stuff like pottery and tools that people used centuries ago. The part about the Indus Valley Civilization was the best. It showed how smart our ancestors were.
The museum also had a part for Pakistani art. There were adorable paintings and sculptures. It was cool to see how art has changed in our country over the time.
I also liked that they had information in both English and Urdu. That means everyone can understand. The people working there were nice and answered my questions.

This place has a nice parking area for motorcycles and cars. And the best thing is, it's easy to access for everyone, especially ♿ people with different abilities.
If you like history, you must visit once. recommend it to everyone, especially our students!

A place with fresh environment, very clean, full of greenery and houses a lot of historical monuments, some originals, some replicas.
The place is full of ancient civilizations artifacts, pottery, daily usage tools and religious statues of Buddhism and hinduism, there is a Quran gallery as well where they have old copies of Quran written in different font styles and one of the copy is entirely written with Gold and covered in gold.
In some of the galleries there are guides that give information about the things.
The ticket is Rs20 for adults.
Overall it was awesome I recommend you to go and personally check out the place rather than following someone else's opinion.

Great fun experience, old archaeological heritage and facts about our land and its inhabitants. Very less token, full air conditioning, polite staff. Good place to visit. Unfortunately very less people visit museum now.

The National Museum in Karachi is a great place to learn about Pakistan's history and culture. I visited it recently and had a wonderful experience. The museum has a wide range of exhibits that showcase the country's rich heritage.

I was amazed by the ancient artifacts, like pottery and tools, that gave me a glimpse into how people lived long ago. The gallery on the Indus Valley Civilization was particularly fascinating, showing how advanced our ancestors were.

The museum also has sections dedicated to Pakistani art, with beautiful paintings and sculptures. It was interesting to see how art has evolved over time in our country.

One thing I really liked was how the museum had information in both English and Urdu, making it easy for everyone to understand. The staff were friendly and willing to answer questions.

The only downside was that some areas felt a bit crowded, but overall, it was a great experience. If you're interested in learning about Pakistan's past and present, the National Museum in Karachi is definitely worth a visit.

20PKR/adult .. Really a historical place to visit. Every peice of history is stuffed under one roof. Beautiful and calm peaceful place. Well management, cleanliness at its peak. Air conditioning system was OK. And most importantly well organised. Its sad that its empty even on weeknds. Pakistani people must come farward to visit this place atleast once to get knowledge about history of the subcontinent.

I visited the museum in February 2021 with my family. I was very excited to show around my kids (came from London) the historical things of our country.
I have to sadly say that the staff from the reception to each department was extremely unprofessional. They had no willingness to assist the visitors in understanding the valuable objects, no welcome greetings or a word of courtesy etc. I believe this might not be in their job description but a smile or welcome greeting wouldn’t cost them anything but would definitely leave a friendly impression forever.

Staff should be given basic informative training as per their relevant departments.

Staff with proper uniforms and museum lanyards would also add great value to the overall quality of the museum.

I couldn’t find any souvenirs shop or booklet stall there. These are sources of revenue and give visitors an opportunity to take some physical memories with them. ( please advise if there is any shop there....)

*Harappa* section was closed (read some reviews saying this has been closed for some times). No alternate arrangements were done to display the valuable antiques.
