Sonmiani beach access requires special permission. Therefore beach is not public.

It is pristine beach with crystal clear water. It is habitat for crabs and u would see lots of them coming to the shore & laying eggs in sand and going back. The profile of the beach is also very gentle so u would really have to go well into the water to be in danger of being swept away. So pretty safe for kids

What a lovely beach 2 hours drive away from Karachi. Clean sea water and clean sand is what Karachiites has been missing for so long and this beach offers both. We went there on a weekday and quite luckily there weren't more than a few people there. So it was far lesser crowded than most beaches. The huts, more like hotel-cum-huts were well-furnished and maintained. They were clean, which is a rare sight for most huts offered on other beaches. They had spacious rooms with air conditioning installed. However, due to the distance there weren't any readily available food and transport facility. A perfect place to spend your weekend with family and enjoy BBQ there with the sound of waves and sea breeze.
Also, if you love sea life, you'll find crustaceans taking a walk on the beach and if you dig the sand a little you might find something interesting buried there, too.

Clean and clear beach, away from the public hustle and bustle. The beach is not publicly accessible. Very well maintained by the authorities, it offers limited food options. Nevertheless, good place to unwind

Very clean water ,well kept huts with all basic necessities, the staff kept cleaning the beach but unfortunately People littered it everywhere even though there are plenty of trash cans installed throughout

Beautiful place sand is soft and water is different as compare to hawksbiay and gidani

What a lovely and adorable beach, right at the beginning of Baluchistan coastal belt of Makran. Water is way cleaner than that of Karachi while sand is also largely free from plastic debris. You can find lot of sea shells and small crustaceans scattered here and there. Army huts are nearby and there are some private food vendors also. Better to take your edibles and drinking water along. Beach is fast and tides are unpredictable so avoid swimming as far as possible.

The Sonmiani beach is at 2 hours drive from Karachi with clean blue water and mesmerizing atmosphere.
The beach is very clean with beautiful huts offering the vision that is soothing to eyes and soul..
