Hub Dam Wildlife Sanctuary.

A great place for nature lovers who like to get out of busy life of Karachi. Dry, towering cliffs with scattered growth of acacia and thorny bushes. Rich bird life including black redstart, bay-backed shrikes, isabelline shrikes, francolins, sand grouses and many more. There are scattered human settlements in and around the sanctuary.

Main fresh water resource for Sindh and Bolochistan province. A beautiful Dam

Good picnic & fishing place...

Hab dam is good place for visiting and enjoying.

I went there on motor bike, the place was very peacefull and beautifull view of mountains.

Nice place for fishing 🎣 but risky and dangerous ways.

Visited today, Not open for public due to imposition of section 144. However a point was open to see the Dam.
Sight was ok, some people were in the water without any Life Jacket or other safety measures which is dangerous.
Visited there almost 4 years ago. Not much changed.

A wonderful place on earth beauty of Karachi .this in the middle of Sindh Balochistan. A must visit place. If you go try to make a round trip at left and right side of the Dam.

This place is near to Karachi, very calm and silent environment out of noise pollution of Karachi city.

The greater part of this wildlife sanctuary (in Balochistan) is unprotected; the eastern shore and area south of the Dam (in Sindh) are protected in the Kirthar National Park and Hub Dam Wildlife Sanctuary., respectively. The lake formed by the dam covers an area of 32 square miles and is an ideal place for bird watching. There is plenty of waterfowl in the lake, both resident and migratory.

When you are young, speed and adrenaline seems to be great. But as you get older and wiser, comfort and peace are not to be despised either.

Good spot for holiday getaway

Quite calm and beautiful place with very few visitors. Please don't try to swim at all.

We have been visiting here several year back .. it used to be very cozy place .. dont really know about the current status
