It is old temples built in 1937 as a gurdwara, and has now been converted into a public library known as Mansehra Municipal Library.

This was a Sikh Temple constructed in 1937, used as Gurdwara. Later CIA Manshera was housed in it. I moved CIA to the newly constructed Police lines some Kilometres away from the main city along with Police Lines in the year 2000. It was handed over to Mr Rasul the then Deputy Commissioner Manshera, giving the idea to establish a Library . he renovated it. The public donated books, thus Municipal Public Library was established .
