It was my first ever Visit to Gora Qabristan, We buried our Uncle Anthony Desouza on 22 Jan 2024. We were very sad, but took some time to see some graves there, This graveyard is really well structured and one of the oldest graveyard in Karachi. One of the beautiful thing about this graveyard is, it has Tallest White Cross in it.

Gora Qabristan literally transliterated as White (man's) graveyard. It is Karachi's one of the operational Christian cemetery . It is located at main Shahra-e-Faisal in the cantonment area. The original consecration of the Karachi Christian Cemetery was in 1845 during colonial rule but there is a tombstone set in the wall near the main gate of the cemetery bearing the date 1843. The graveyard covers an area of around 20 acres.

It is an old grave yard mainly for Christian minority but also having few senior Pakistani Muslims including ex president .
One of my friend's relative buried today here.
