University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Peshawar, is a premier institution of higher learning in the field of engineering sciences. Established as university in 1980, today it boasts twenty two departments, covering an entire spectrum of engineering disciplines, from the traditional such as electrical and mechanical, to the cutting-edge technologies such as electronics, mechatronics and industrial engineering. To-date, more than eighteen thousand of our graduates are serving the needs of Pakistan, and many have achieved high postion of responsibility and excellence in their chosen fields. Besides bachelors degree courses, there is a robust post-graduate program, where scholars are engaged in rigorous training and research leading to Master's and Ph.D degree.

University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar is the best engineering university in Peshawar providing several engineering degree programs from systems engineering to mechanical & computer science etc. The fee structure is also low but you have to crack the entrance test called ETEA Exam to confirm your seat. UET Peshawar also has several advance centers including the national center of artificial intelligence (NCAI) & AI in healthcare located in the basement of computer science department. last time, i did internship at NCAI peshawar as an NLP intern and it was a worthy experience learned many things from highly qualified researchers.

One of finest and best university of Pakistan, where teachers are highly qualified and friendly with their students. They have past dated abd new technologies for practical work. This university is near bro KMC. University of Peshawar is nearest station of BRT for UET.

This is the place where I spent 4 years of youth and enjoyed studying Engineering. Its a great place to study and rating of 5 stars totally depends upon the educational reference. But to be honest if you want to be polished in extra co-curricular activities please go to Lahore, Islamabad and other cities in Pakistan, Peshawar is not enough for you grooming and boosting your inter and intra personal skills.

My university, i have completed my Engineering from here, very good education standard with outstanding teaching staff. UET is considered as most strict university regarding Grading in Exam which makes it most famous and highly rated among other Govt and Private Universities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Formerly known as NWFP University of Engineering and Technology until 2010, it an institution of higher learning in Pakistan with a strong emphasis on the development of science and engineering.
Its programs of civil engineering includes research in the interdiscipline of earthquake studies, started after the massive earthquake jolted the country in 2005. The University offers undergraduate and post-graduate programs in various engineering disciplines. I am now student of UET Peshawar,,, I will say that about my university that this is one of the best Engineering university in kpk,,,, every thing is very best and great here the building, faculty, studies and even staff is very best and helpful,,, I love my uni.

My experience to the place was a good one. The place is neat and tidy. Moreover, if someone wants to use an ATM then UBL's ATM is on the left side of the entrance.

In 1952, an engineering college was set up as a constituent college of the University of Peshawar with an enrollment of twenty students (according to the UET Peshawar Annual Report 2006 – 2007). This college was granted a charter to operate as an independent engineering university in 1980 under the name University of Engineering and Technology. It was officially known as the NWFP University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar until 2010 when the province name was changed to Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). Colloquially, it has been referred to as UET Peshawar since its establishment.
