The place of serenity.
It was an amazing experience. Host and the staff are very helpful and polite. Speciality of this property is that it is on the riverside, with an elegant view of habba khatoon peak.

I traveled solo and choosing this place to stay was the best decision I’ve ever made. The place is so perfect, I extended my 3 night stay to 6. Zeeshan is a wonderful host and all the guys (Naveed, Sahil, Irfan) are super helpful and kind. From a solo female traveler to other solo travellers out there, put this place on your list.

We stayed there for 6days felt homely.

Gurez retreat camping site is a hidden gem located amidst the picturesque village of Dawar.The camp is just adjacent to the Kishenganga river with breathtaking views of the snow clad mountains and lush green meadows.Perfect spot for meditation or just rejuvenation if you are looking for a quite holiday with family and friends.The owner of the camp,Mr.Zeeshan is a wonderful host and goes out of the way to make you feel comfortable,not to mention his always smiling and ever helpful support staff.

Amazing stay at the Gurez Retreat campsite, right on the banks of Kishanganga river. I think Gurez and Tulail valley is the most beautiful place in Kashmir and this campsite run by Zeeshan is the best place to stay here. Great hospitality, amazing location and the camps are well maintained. Hot water availability is a bit of an issue but for that the government has to take the blame for not providing permanent electricity to Gurez. Would highly recommend this place.

We stayed in a amazing double bed attached washroom tents at Gurez retreat. Such tents are monopoly here of gurez retreat.

Location was excellent, just on the beautiful river kishanganga.

Zeeshaan bhai was very helpful and just he maked sure everything goes well and was spot on with us.

He arranged the breakfast in the river upon our request.
Bonfire and food arrangements made and were quite good.

Highly recommended a stay here.

The Swiss style cottage tents by the riverside at Gurez Retreat, are easily one of the best places to stay when in Gurez Valley. Located in Dawar, these tents are absolutely comfortable and have one of the best views to wake up to. The tent rooms have attached bathrooms which are equally neat and clean. Zeeshan is a wonderful host and his team makes sure your stay is perfect. Don’t forget to say hello to Lisa, the adorable pupper and the black Stallion while you are around!

Gurez Retreat is very clean and well maintained guest house situated at the bank of River Kishanganga in Dawar and gives an amazing view of Habba Khatoon peak from window. We stayed there two nights and had an incredible experience. They serve good food and hospitality.

This property is located at just Right place in gurez valley...we stayed for 2 nights and it felt like home in gurez...all thanks to Zeeshan and Ali ..both are super good hosts and they welcomed us very well. they are well versed with entire gurez valley and helped us in our local sight seeing. the property is neat and clean. Rooms are very well decored and prices were so just perfect. we have planned to stay next time in this property again. Thanks Zeeshan for hosting us.

Guyz if you are planning to visit Gurez and if you will not visit this property then your visit is incomplete... The hospitality shown by Zeeshan and Ali forced me to extend my stay by one day... The property Gurez Retreat is located approx. 1 km from Dawar, on the banks on Kishan Ganga river, sorrounded by lush green mountains all around including famous Hanna Khatoon Mountain . Rooms are well furnished, with access to WiFi, Landline & Television.

The Guest house also serves home like food on very nominal charges.

Gurez Retreat is a very centrally located Guest House. The staff are absolutely excellent. Everyone was friendly, helpful and fun to chat with.

The room were clean, comfortable and had an excellent bed and interiors.

They charge very nominal on room rent & food (home like) as compared to other Guest houses, Dak Bunglow & TRC.

In Gurez there is limited accommodate, very few Guest Houses, Govt. Accommodation (DAK BUNGLOW & TRC), better is to book accommodation prior to visit to the place.

Gurez is a must visit place, people are very friendly and the destination is very much safe for tourists.

Fantastic place to stay with amazing views all around, have stayed in this blissful place for a very brief period, very close to the Kishanganga River, magnificent views of Habba Khatoon Mountain, sipping the morning cuppa with views is an amazing experience, low lying clouds, occasional rains, and mist are an absolute delight, the cottage is very cosy and self sustained, with good and helpful staff.

It was excellent, Room has all aminities with great view.Excellent location as well.Host was Wonderful.Highly recommended.
