Shell Select

In retrospect, it was one of those times when you'd be glad there's a shell select in the middle of the still uncrowded places of Tagaytay on a blustery night. So I went out of the hotel for an evening stroll and to check out a local pasalubong store I thought I saw when I arrived. While it rained the night before, I didn't expect stormy weather that night. Then as I crossed the highway, a heavy downpour began. I had to continue running for shelter and this gasoline station was just there. The gasoline boys just gestured for me to come in. 👍 Inside, there were tables for dining in so I decided to have some snacks and coffee until the rain stopped. A few minutes later, a couple of guys also came in to wait it out. The best part, the store has WIFI! While I don't think I'll get another chance to drive by the place again, definitely the 5 stars go to the kind staff, the coffee on a cold wet evening, some pastries and the WIFI! 📶

We just dropped by to kill some time and watch the sunset. And since we've been in many Shell Selects before, we are curious of what Shell Cafe can offer aside from their great coffee beverages.

As we spoke with their crew, the cafe just opened this year's 1st quarter along with other franchising businesses that offers potato fries, siomai, and siopao.

And just like every Shell Select, the cafe also serves as a convenient store to its patrons but with wider pastry and beverage selections. The best part is, they have a multi-functional hall in the 2nd floor where you can enjoy both sunrise and sunset.
