Immersing ourselves in Vigan felt really authentic, as if we were welcomed into a cherished ancestral home. Calle Crisologo is just a 2-minute walk from the house. My favorite was the daily homemade breakfasts which added a personal touch to our stay. Choosing this place over a standard hotel was undoubtedly the right decision. 🩷

3-min walk from Calle Crisologo. Emmeline is a superb host. The staff are very accommodating. This is a 150-year old house but well maintained. You can rent Filipiniana costumes for your complete experience.

Staying in Villa Angela Heritage House is a nostalgic experience. Recently, it was the filming location for the "Maria Clara at Ibarra" historical time-travel fantasy television series with award-winning Filipino actors. This generated renewed interest in Heritage conservation and Philippine cultural icons so a Villa Angela visit is really a bucket-list item for those who love Spanish (Castilian) style architecture and a very "family ancestral home" laid-back vibe.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cozy heritage house right at the heart of Vigan! Such a magnificent house with rich cultural significance. Highly recommended if ever you're visiting Vigan. Oh and did I mention that Tom Cruise used to stay here back in 1989? Wicked! 😉

Very nice place. Clean, cozy, friendly staff. There’s ample parking space. The rooms are well kept and clean. Our home everytime we visit Vigan.

Tom Cruise stayed here! Villa Angela is one of the best places to stay in Vigan if you are after the feel of experiencing living in the 1800s. This heritage house have four-poster beds and the works. You get to taste the best Ilocos cuisine too, cooked authentic and deliciously fresh. I gave five stars because it is all worth it staying here. Not to mention the very accommodating and hospitable staff they have. They also have a tour package that is very affordable.

Excellent place for groups. And it’s very close to Calle Crisologo too. We just walk it a few minutes.

We loved our stay at Villa Angela. It is a beautiful old home with antique period furnishings, many original family pieces. I was traveling with my wife and elderly mother and needed a bedroom for three adults. We reserved the Cuarto delos Hijos bedroom. It comes with Air Conditioning, TV and three beds, one double and two singles. The room has a shared outdoor veranda area, outdoor sink and 2 CR's with hot shower. Breakfast was incredible! We enjoyed fried rice, eggs, bacon, Vigan longanisa, toast, fresh marmelade, fresh squeezed calamansi juice, hot coffee and tea. Fabulous way to start the day! The accommodations were quiet, very clean and comfortable with fresh linens and towels happily provided daily. We were made to feel as this was our home. We were treated with smiling respect always. The caretakers were keen to our wants and helped us to arrange for a guided tour of the sights around town, including the pottery making, museums, mansions, and a lunch break at the Hidden Garden. Love Villa Angela and will stay there again, maybe later this year.

We have visited Vigan many times and we always only stay at Villa Angela in the only suite room with a nice private bath and canopy bed where Tom Cruise stayed when filming Born on the 4th of July movie. Breakfast is included and is simple fried rice, eggs, bacon, Vigan sausage etc but the staff are all so friendly and accommodating. Don't miss the nightly new international 5 star erupting fountains light and sound show at the large pizza downtown.

Lovely colonial house with a big garden. Rooms are big, with a historical touch. Breakfast was great with mostly traditional food. One of the special hotels in Vigan.

You could feel the history of the place. The owners are very wonderful female entrepreneurs with their minds toward helping the community. A must stay. The place is only two blocks from Calle Crisologo. Great place to start a morning run in a historic district of Vigan.

a great vintage experience!

we had a great time staying at villa angela heritage house..we felt the 1600's vibe.. the staffs were friendly to us.. they were also informative in terms of what to visit and whatnot.. the villa is 2 mins walk away to Calle Crisologo and other mansions/museum..it is spacious..it has free parking.. a must try! definitely a come back!

For antique lovers villa angela is one of the oldest houses in Vigan. Good place to stay. Feels like you are in your own house very accomodating and few minutes walk going to crisologo street.

The house is beautifully kept and the service is impeccable. Close enough to the main Street to walk and enjoy vigan. Plus large enough to stay with the whole family. Would definitely recommend staying in this piece of history.

Place is great for its location. Breakfast is great. Place is clean and presko for having big windows. House is so nice despite being old.
