Dalaguete is a 1st municipal income class municipality in the province of Cebu, Philippines, located 84 kilometres (52 mi) south of Cebu city. It is bounded on the north by Argao, on the south by Alcoy, on the west by the municipalities of Badian and Alegria and on the east by the Bohol Strait.[5] According to the 2015 census, it has a population of 67,497.[3] In the 2016 electoral roll, it had 35,658 registered voters.[4] Dalaguete offers one of the trails to Cebu's highest summit, the Osmeña Peak. The Dalaguete Museum is housed inside the Municipio in Dalaguete. I heard about it from Biyahe ni Drew and is very fascinated to come here and learn the history of the said town. This structure, the Municipio, is a heritage site itself. It has been here for centuries and had been a famous landmark/ point of interest.

When I came here last week, it is still under construction. I'm just pretty disappointed for the slow process of restoration. Its just sad to see one of the famous landmark in Dalaguete becomes a billboard of advertisement for other Dalaguete landmarks. (see pic for reference)

Tip#1: For now, there is a huge billboard covering the Municipio which serve as a guide for tourist and adventurers alike where can they go sightseeing in Dalaguete.

Tip#2: This place can serve as your pick-up point for buses plying back to Cebu City.

Tip#3: There are lots of convenient stores located on the surrounding area as this is the city center.
