A kind and welcoming place full of historical knowledge and collections about the late President Magsaysay's life.

The tour guide doesn't charge money but is very knowledgeable on the subject matter. He even shares details about how he collected some artifacts inside the museum.

The museum also has a free CR located at the back, which is maintained.

I was struggling to find any historical/cultural museums in Zambales and came across this. We turned up on a Tuesday morning and were offered a guided tour. Entrance and tour were free, we gave a donation. The house has been well preserved and tells the story of the ex-President. Our guide gave some wonderful anecdotes about President Ramon Magsaysay.
I enjoyed looking at the room decor/furniture and fashions of the day. I recommend passing by if you're in the area.

Wow. Everything in here is just spectacular. Even the guard is incredibly enthusiastic. He offered to take me pictures. Also, what impressed me the most was the fact that the guard did the stand-in as the museum lecturer for the meantime. The curator and the guide were both not there for personal reasons so what Manong Guard did was very inspiring. Hehe. Thanks a lot manong guard!

This is one of our national treasures. Please visit this one more often. No entrance but they would certainly love to accept donations.

The Museo ni Ramon Magsaysay is a must-see museum for those visiting Zambales as it is the only one dedicated to the life and legacy of a well-loved Philippine president. It is the ancestral home of Magsaysay's family who moved to Castillejos from Iba when the president was a little boy. It is very informative and well-maintained, and has interactive exhibits for young ones and young once alike.

A simple, yet very immersive exhibit of President Ramon Magsaysay's life, career, and legacy. The experience was made better with the passionate tour given by the museum guide/curator. Highly recommended for a short visit. When you do, please donate as well.

This was one of a remarkable historical places in the history of the Philippines. The ancestral house of the late 7th President of the Philippines. Many wonderful things inside the house. Where you can find the suits of the presidents his boots up to his hair comb. Also, you can read the biography of Pres. Magsaysay and his tragic death. Which can give you a clear and much detailed information of his life. I also post a picture of mine and my family way back 2015 in commemoration of his death anniversary. Photos indicates the Presidential table, full house view and the Presidents car the Cadillac. Thanks i hope this can give you insights and informarion regarding the House of our 7th President Ramon Magsaysay. Located at Magsaysay road Castillejos Zambales.

Entrance is free, you could and probably should give donation tho.
The museum is pretty well preserved. You will learn A LOT about Magsaysay and some context of his (and his countrymen) struggles during the 1950s.
As a foreigner visiting (Indonesian), it was still somewhat relatable cause we faced similar challenges during that time in history. Oh, and if you're a geek of vintage furnitures, that would be a plus as well

This house was owned by Ramon Magsaysay, the Seventh President of the Philippines and the place where the late president started capturing the hearts of the people, the reason why he is the "Champion of the Masses" and "Savior of Democracy". The first floor has several collections of memorabilia used by the late president. An old wooden staircase connects the second floor from the first floor. Majority of the second floor is composed of artistic wood with high ceiling and wide windows made of capiz shells. This part has a collection of paintings, cabinets, stereo, family dining room and a bedroom. Aside from that, there is also an extension on the left side where medals, awards, and video of historical events are being showed to the visitors. Since this house is being managed by the local government, like the other museums, it opens at 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. No entrance fees collected, just donations. The backyard is clean and properly maintained. Its vibrant light green color attracts people passing by the highway even you are inside the vehicle.

Good evening po 🙂 I'm a grade 12 student from Tarlac National High School. Our subject, Contemporary Philippine Arts from the Regions, requires a copy of Ramon Magsaysay Ancestral house floor plan. I tried searching its floor plan in the internet but I couldn't find one. If you'll allow me, I hope I could get a copy of it from the you. 🙂 sorry for the disturbance. Thank you and God bless 🙂
