Cocina de Pueblo

We ate there yesterday for my birthday. I certainly haven't tried EVERY restaurant in Roxas City, but I'm hard-pressed to believe there are any better.

From the great location, view, food, and generally good service, it's my favorite spot in the city. I've probably been a half dozen times or so, and the food has always been excellent.

Today I had the lasagna, which was delicious and the best I've had anywhere in the Philippines. My wife and I shared a salad, which was also great. And try their calamansi cucumber lemonade. It is great and really quenches your thirst.

And for my birthday, they gave me an absolutely flawless chocolate cake. I was in heaven.

Yes, it's a little more expensive than your typical Filipino restaurant, but the food and service justifies the added expense.

I read one review that complained about tiny portions. We had left-overs to take home out of every dish we ate. The portions are not small.

In summary, if you want to treat yourself to a nice meal in Roxas City, you won't find better.

I am glad that I found the best restaurant in Roxas after seeing the sacred heart Jesus statue.

Atmosphere is good. Food is great. But waited too long to serve.

The place is very relaxing and best to dine at night. A romantic venue to cherish with your loved ones.

Best place to eat in the city!

Es war an dem Tag sehr warm, sodass die Ventilatoren nicht viel brachten. Ansonsten kann man gut sitzen und hat eine Aussicht auf das unbebaute Gebiet. Das Essen ist ganz ok.

I liked all the food that were served, tasty! There were some small hiccups but overall we enjoyed our dining experience. We bought extra food for takeaway because it’s yummy and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting this lovely city. If you have diet restrictions like you want less sugar and sodium in your food, you can make a request and they’d gladly oblige.

Bring your mosquito repellant as there are plenty of mosquitoes especially when you plan to dine in one of their cottages outside. They also have only sweet wines and not enough wine glasses (we used the ones on display =)

Great food, great view, nice restaurant design, kinda pricy, but acceptable, and pleasing service from the employees. Probably one of the best restaurant in Roxas.

Food is good, the place is good, the ambiance is good. Overall the place is comfortable. Servers are excellent and very accommodating.

Masarap yung pagkain.

PERO, the experience is not that great. They have one restaurant Cafe Terraza as well. Sister company? Oo. So ayun hati yung mga staff, magulo, hindi makausap ng maayos yung staff. Nakaupo ka na, nakaorder pero antagal dumating ng order mo. So kapag gutom ka, wag ka dito please.

Maganda yung place kase parang hotel yung nasa itaas. Malawak, maluwag. PERO, dahil linggo, puro pamilya yung kasabayan mong kumain na may batalyong anak. Sobrang maingay at magulo. It would really disturb you and just regret being there.

Try to go there ng weekday baka maiba.
