The Lake Hotel Tagaytay

Stayed here last December 23-25, 2023 and January 23-24, 2024.

Our first stay was during Christmas and it was a best decision. Our stay was amazing amenities, breakfast, Christmas event and staff.

We booked a room with a lake view but was disappointed it was partial view only. They do need to polish/fix few things in the room though.

Definitely coming back!

Our 2nd stay for 1 night and again it was amazing. But, same as before they do need to polish/fix few things in the room.

We booked a standard room for this trip and it was noisy. We can hear all the people in the hallway.

Late lunch @Al Dente celebrating my Brother's Birthday. Amazing view with the pool. Friendly staff. Worth it ang food. Very tender bulalo meat & their kare2 which really melts in your mouth. Nutty kare2 which I really love. Pinakbet was good. Dry meatball pasta. Everything was perfect. Along Emilio Aguinaldo Highway.

The location is accessible to all. The place is clean. Staffs are kind and accommodating...

The hotel is ideal for small groups, with complete amenities and very accessible.

Went for Christmas Dinner. Food was sensible for its price highlight was the staff and great music

The views, atmosphere, and quality of decor is excellence as is the service! We appreciated the bathtub in the room, but wished it was a bit larger. The bedding was comfortable and the room was fairly well-equipped. There were a few minor drawbacks like: the shower door not fully closing, the lack of hot water mid-morning Saturday, the iron having a UK plug without a UK-style outlet in the room, and a relatively small electric kettle and coffee cups. The balcony was beautiful, but not as relaxing with the ongoing renovations in the west wing. HOWEVER, all of these were easily overlooked by the greater amenities and service. Fantastic value!

- Buffet breakfast - delicious! lots of choices, we thought its for lunch time 🤣

The Lake Hotel staff are all great! They all go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Rooms are very clean and has wonderful view of Taal volcano. Breakfast buffet is amazing.

Excellent hotel. Fancy. Piano player as you enter the lobby. I was impressed. They were doing a large renovation on one side of the hotel and had informed me prior to arrival that this was occurring. Staff were polite, professional and friendly. They have a decent restaurant and there are many good restaurants within walking distance. They have the best elevated view I could find of the Taal Volcano. I definitely recommend this hotel. The rooms were nice, the wifi worked and when it rained the Cable TV was enjoyable.

Beautiful place with a perfect view of the island on an island on a lake... Food is excellent...

The hotel staff are courteous. The view of the taal lake from the lobby down to the dining hall near the pool was breathtaking. The rooms were ok even the buffet breakfast. The hotel manager professionally handled a minor issue during our check-out. Thank you, although I was not sble to get your name. We will definitely come back!

A magnificent location to visit or stay. Photos show this is fantastic. We stayed here to attend a wedding. It's absolutely perfect for Weddings or a romantic stay over. Definitely 5 stars.

The hotel was nice. Room were comfy and clean. But the people working there is one of a kind. They were very helpful. Especially the Manager, Arthur and one of their staff Erwin.
They went above and beyond their duty to give help to people in need of it.

I went to Tagaytay last weekend unplanned, supposedly just a daytrip with my wife and 2 kids.
But then our car broke down, just right in front of The Lake Hotel.
I asked for assistance from a staff, Erwin if he knows a mechanic. Guessing it'll take a while for our car to be repaired since it was a Sunday, I secured my family and checked in for an overnight stay. The manager on duty at the time made sure that my family is comfortable and showed a sincere concern with our situation since we have our 1 year old baby travelling with us.

We manage to find an open car repair shop and this guy Erwin stayed with me late at night, until my car get fixed even though his shift already ended even before I approached him for help.

I could not thank them enough for making that day less stressful for us. I will definitely go back to this place and recommend them to every people I know and I will continue telling this story of kindness. Good people still exist in our world.

Most beautiful location, friendly people and great service from the staff, breakfast to die for ... if you live Philippine food like i do!!! And plentiful.. superb start to any day. Super talented valet/Bell person who plays the piano!

Staff are very friendly, courteous and helpful. There is a welcome drink. Breakfast buffet is so good and plenty of choices. Coffee is also good. Pool area has a very nice view of the taal lake. Room is ok but I prefer if all rooms has windows.

I just had lunch at their restaurant when I visited Tagatay to watch the lake and volcano view. Food and it's presentation was great; service was also good. And the view is just breathtaking !

This place has an absolutely fabulous view of the TAAL volcano & surrounding area.The staff are what makes this hotel, especially Allan. Ask for him, no request is too big & his dining recommendations are spot on. Best wishes to Arthur too. See you in Palawan.

Clean rooms with basic toiletries, ref and tv.
Our room had two beds one double and one single (perfect if you have a kid). The hot shower took a while nga lang for the hot water.
All their staff were superb; when we arrive they greeted with complimentary drinks right away. At the breakfast buffet their staff was thoughful. I left my bag on my chair to get food, when I get back my bag now has it’s own chair beside me as if he knew how much women value their bags. 🥰 then at the lobby and food hall their pianists would play lovely songs. It adds that special moment talaga when there is live music rather than ung mga song lang played on speakers lang. 🤍
Compared to other Tagaytay hotels, the Lake Hotel has one of the the best customer service and staff for me and that makes a difference for guests. Those little extra efforts should’nt go unnoticed.

Our visit was for leisure and I would recommend this place. Great place! Even the service was commendable. Food tastes good and offers variety. View from the hotel is the cherry on top of the cake!

Hotel is well maintained, and staff are nice. Hotel has one of the best views of the Taal lake and volcano.

Note though, that standard rooms don't have the lake view or balcony, but these rooms are nice. Ask for the premier rooms for a view.
