Penalosa Demo Farm

Had a wonderful experience visiting this farm. Learned a lot about different ways to make use of the land, respect the environment and at the same time enjoy our surroundings and even the possibilities of promoting tourism. Thank you to the owner Ramon Penalosa who happens to be a new found relative from my mom's (Eleazar) side from Lucban, Quezon. Thank you also to his wife Grace. Hope to be back someday.

For a place with a few thousand egg laying chicken, 100 pigs the 9000 square meter farm has no foul odour, house fly nor mosquito .....

A demo tour and a lunch buffet safe package s one can select.

A recommended Visit .

I want to visit this place again to learn more about agri-tourism. Crops, livestock, mushroom, processed food, white & brown egg production are some of the projects we can see inside the farm located inside the city proper. It's an hour drive from the City of Smile, Bacolod City.

On a medical mission in Victorias and fortunately am staying at penalosa farms getting introduced to agri-eco farming by none other than, impeccably gracious hosts Grace , Ramon and John Penalosa!! Truly a model of environmental sustainability!!

Very inspiring, they walk the talk!

A great effort to promote organic farming. Wonderfully organized garden with a lot of plants in particular aromatic. Beautiful flowers all over. The building inside is a great discovery. Go to the top and have a plunging view over the farm and discover the rooms where you can stay for 1 or more days really cosy and respecting autentithy of the region. The chapel is also to watch a jewel. One weak point of the farm is the way chicken are growing : in cage like in industrial farming so not at all respecting the animals. Hope they will improve. This said it's really a great effort to contribute to the promotion of organic farming. Worth the visit

Organic garden, pigs, layers, mushrooms, quail egg layers, herbal garden, feeds & other farm products. Seminars are conducted & stay in packages during seminars also available. Its an old bus terminal (Rainbow) converted into a high value crops production. Open pit drainage used as fertilizer source.

I like the warm accommodation of the Peñalosa family and staffs.. You will come out loving farming.. Thank you Sir Mon and Ma'am Grace!
