Iskong Bantay Watchtower is one of the historical site in Atimonan Quezon wherein it is officially decalred as a National Cultural Treasure last December 28, 2020.

It served as a weather observatory and defense tower built about 1752 that was then Monitored by Francisco Tandas a.k.a "Iskong Bantay" as the Chief Defender of the town of Atimonan during the rage of vicious pirate raid in the year 1872.

Iskong bantay was the local soldier for whom the tower was named. He was the leading sentinel of the town. The tower was torn down by invading Japanese forces during World War 2.
