I passed by this area several times before but it was the very first time that noticed the stairs today. The brass plaque at the bottom reads:

"INANG-ANGAN
Coral-stone stairway of five flights
and 212 steps (1847-1849)

Declared as a National Cultural Treasure
by the National Museum (2010)"

I wonder how many structures of that scope exists in the Philippines
