Kaèaka Falls

Kaèaka Falls near barangay Mamba in Madalag, Aklan on the island of Panay is off the beaten path. The final section of the trail is only recommended for experienced hikers/bush walkers. In wet weather the trail can be extremely slippery. The falls have several sections. Climbing between the sections can be quite dangerous due to slippery surfaces.
The filtered light coming through the rainforest canopy hits the water and the reddish rocks and creates an enchanted place.
It is a great reward to swim in the refreshing waters of the pools.
Beverages brought along for the visit can be naturally cooled in the pools.
At the time of our visit Kaèaka Falls was free with no facilities there. It is best to bring all the supplies along!
