Stairway lodge and restaurant

Great place! 1000 pesos for a private room with bathroom, comfortable beds, clean and airy with a nice view overlooking the town. The owner is very sweet and kind and the restaurant serves good food. Somehow the French fries were some of the best I’ve ever had anywhere.

This place was perfect! We had a room with a private bathroom/shower for 1000 pesos. They let us leave our stuff after we checked out so that we could go hiking and there was a large hang out space, wifi, and a good restaurant.

We had a wonderful time at Stairway Lodge. The owners were very helpful, they kept our bags when we were trekking and they allowed us to stay late in our room while we were waiting for our afternoon bus. The room was nice and the view was incredible. Thank you so much once again for your help and kindness.

This place was exceptional. I felt up till this point my only value for what I paid. I got a single room here for less than any dormitory I rented so far. You had a great view of rice terraces from hotel balcony or could rent a higher end room with view. Alice the owner was very honest and helped me with all my needs and beyond. Her sister cooks up good food in the restaurant portion. You are centrally located with jeepneys-, 3 wheelers and long distance buses just a few hundred meters away.

Great place for travellers on budget. Rooms are basic, but clean. Good hot shower. Decent meals in the restaurant. But most importantly - owners go out of their way to help you with anything you might need during tour stay. I really enjoyed staying there

The view from this lodge is very nice. Even food is affordable and serving is good enough to fill you up for a hike. The lady/staff is accommodating and smiles all the time. Hehe.

Nice big room and ensuite, with good view. Excellent location. Helpful staff and can leave bags in lockers for 50 pesos per bag when going for a couple of days in batad.

Hidden gem. We had breakfast here with beautiful views. Food was cheap, but good quality. Building may be outdated, but it was a great find!
