The bikolanos are just proud to know that christianity in the island of Luzon started right here in Sorsogon. Today is the 450th year anniversary since the first mass was held here by Fray Alonzo Jimenez.

Yay! Sa tagal ng panahon na budgetan din ito. hehe sana tuloy tuloy pa ang rehabilitation ng lugar para maka attract ng tourismo at maka pag dagdag ng additional income sa local ng Gibalon. Nakakatuwa na din na madami na ding nag stop para mag picture taking sa lugar sana ma develop pa ang lugar lalo hehehe

A piece of history in Magallanes, Sorsogon. Gibalon Chapel is the place where the first mass in Luzon was celebrated in year 1569. Place is not really picturesque but it's a good feeling that you have a fresh air to breathe in. You need to bring your own vehicle going here due to the mountainous terrain and it is also far from the city center. Nothing much to see on the nearby place, too.
