Coucou Bar Hotel & Restaurant Bantayan Island

Located just right down the road. Very good ambience they have chill bean bag-like chairs and short tables at the entrance if you prefer to stay there...

I have never even seen the inside of a room here but I eat here every chance I get, the food is great. Love the drinks, the pizza is decent, fried chicken is great and my salad was not bad either.

Very nice rooms in a perfect location. The restaurant is fantastic as well. The staff is incredibly friendly, and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

Food is amazingly good and crews were accommodating to everyone. The area is nice as well and spaceful enough.

I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere here, highly recommend, I think the rating should be little higher than 3.9

Sisig was only 275php and you get a good ambiance of the place. I love their frozen ice tea.

I have personally had the pleasure of visiting this establishment several times, and I have to say, the food, drinks, and overall atmosphere here are fantastic! From the delicious cocktails and craft beers to the fresh and flavorful food, you will not be disappointed. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance is perfect for a night out with friends. I highly recommend Coucou Bar Hotel and Restaurant for a great evening out!

Friendly and attentive staff. Clean rooms. Good ambience. Their restaurant is packed at night. It's situated along the busy street of Santa Fe, lots of restaurants nearby and near Kota beach (maybe about 50-100M away). Cable tv is not working at the time of visit but it's not like were using it anyway.

As restaurant is lovely. The low tables and the cushions are fantastic. Really add a lot of style to the place. Food is great also. I had a very good tanigue in coconut sauce and excellent siniga soup. Staff is lovely also

Frank battaglia made a YouTube video and warned me not to go here, he said the restaurant was terrible and the pizza was dry and paper thin.

In truth, the pizza was delicious. Great flavor and lots of cheese, coupled with amazing service.

The best hotel and restaurant of Santa Fe in many ways. I had the privilege to be there for a full day and night. The restaurant and bar is the entry point. Nicely decorated in an uncommon but creative style. The hotel itself is an architecturally wonderful style. You access to it through a very green garden with beautiful plants and trees. The rooms are very comfortable with everything thought of. In front of each room a little terrace with chairs to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the garden. The restaurant is vast and offers a wide variety of European and native cuisine together with a unbelievable choice of drinks, cocktails, beers and spirit. The food is reputed to be the best in Santa Fe. The access to the sea is about 200 meters of the Coucou. The owner, a Belgian man living since 15 years there, is a very joyful and open minded person who inspires empathy. So don't wait to go but if you want a room book in advance...

The resort has a bar, a restaurant and bean bag seating. The food is great and the liquor has such varied assortment. The place is very popular for travelers at night especially the cottage with bean bag seating and white curtains. The rooms are decent. The ref, shower, TV and amenities may need some maintenance. All in all it was great though. You can also rent a motorcycle for P300 per day that allows you to travel around the whole island as much as you want. Traveling on your own with Google Maps was the best. The churches around Bantayan are beautiful.

It was my first visit to Bantayan Island, and this place did not disappoint! the food the serving all good !

The food here is delicious. The price is a bit expensive as expected on a beautiful restaurant :)
The place is elegant and classy. The only thing annoying was the barbeq beside the restaurant, 'cause the smoke goes directly on our direction which is a bit annoying. Maybe they can do something about that next time. So far so good overall! :)

Love it. Best big rooms with tables and seperate bathroom and shower. Great service and busy restaurant with good food and some of the best coffee we've had in Philippines.
Pay extra and get the Deluxe Queen room, it's such a big upgrade for only a little more money.

i think the hotel's location is good because it's bar and center of island! so, reasonable schedule is that day time enjoy the beautiful white sand beaches and night time enjoy delicious cocktail and drinks safely, isn't it!^^

Coucou Bar is an awesome place to stay in Bantay Island. It's very convenient because it is located where you can easily access the market, church, beaches and many more to mention. Great ambiance and good food. 💯👌

We dined sometime in April when we were looking for some nice restaurant to have dinner.
Location: Coucou is very near the busier area of Bantayan, where the stores, mini groceries, other restaurants and tricycles abound. It’s on the main road, not on the beach.
Ambience: We went here for both lunch and dinner. Dinner was lovelier because the lights and breeze set up a romantic feel. When you get the chance to take the casita where there are bean bags, they’re quite cozy :).
Food: We had the fried danggit, prawn curry, spicy crab and halo-halo. We loved most of it and the price was super affordable. The curry could do better. We thought it wasn’t special. The danggit was fried lightly and just right to get that right crisp without the bitter taste of over-frying. The crab tasted good, too, but they didn’t break or offered a cracker to break the claws (I should’ve asked, but I got lazy). And the halo-halo to end the dinner was pretty good.
Yes, it was good experience. Value for money + tasty food + friendly staff + a wide range of menu options = 5 stars for me!!!
