Amazing place in Anda, which became our memorable place during our stay!
Wide variety of freshly made dishes, also suitable if you are a vegetarian. The hosts are incredible and very hospitable, great way to connect with local community.
We left Anda full of culinary experiences, tastes and kindness that we received.

Anda has had the most flavourful food in the Philippines so far and this is no exception.

I had aubergine adobo, bok choy and a fish item with rice for my last night dinner in Anda, and I wish I knew about this not-so-hidden-gem sooner.
I assume this is what everyday Filipino food looks like with a lot of vegetables, fish and pork items on the menu. The items cost 30 peso each portion, except the fish was 70 peso. I'm not sure what fish I got though, I wish I did as I think 70 peso must be premium price for items in Carinderia like this one.
Rice was 15 peso a cup and 10 peso for spring roll.
I was so content and happy with my food, and especially appreciated the fact that everything was still warm. 🙏😍

This is by no means fancy. It is located in the market in the food court section. However, it stands out because it has more vegetable options than most restaurants I’ve been to in the Philippines. Very reasonable.

Many delicious food options (seafood, meat and vegetables) for a very reasonable prices. Owners were very welcoming and have been running this restaurant for 35 years. The sticky rice in banana leave was the best.

Good food (in particular the veggies), great variety, nice owner. Prices are more than reasonable. A safe bet in Anda!

La mejor comida filipina que he comido. Muy sabrosa, mucha variedad y muchas verduras, mi amiga es vegetariana y ha tenido pocas opciones en los sitios filipinos. Está muy bien de precio, las porciones valen 30 pesos y son pequeñitas. Tienen unas mesitas en frente para comer. Cierra a las 20.00 h, así que no te demores si quieres cenar.
