All in all, the experience was great!
The staff were really amiable, the location was also a good choice; and the room was great with air condition and surprisingly, the water was also warm even without heater.

The lady who runs the place is very accomodating! I believe she goes the extra mile for her guests. The wifi is sporadic. Our room's CR though had a nasty stench—smelled like canal so we had to keep the door closed at all times, and just get used to the smell while using the restroom. The beds were clean. There's a small table and chair. Felt very cozy and homey. The common area looks great because it had a rustic feel but prepare for mosquitoes taking a feasting—nothing Off Lotion can't fix naman! If you have an appetite like mine, breakfast is a bit bitin because it's just 2 small pieces of longganisa silog.

I love everything about this place. They have a very convenient self-service store, clean rooms, self service kitchen and near town center. Definitely going to check in here while in Vigan next time.

One of the best transient houses in Vigan! With very kind and accommodating hosts, we never felt far away from our home. Price is very reasonable. The owners being so comforting and helpful is a big plus. I definitely recommend them!

5 of us stayed here while visiting the UNESCO city of Vigan.
We had a wonderful rooms, spotlessly clean, with air conditioning. The 3 piece bathroom was modern. They have a kitchen in the common outside area so if you chose to make your own meals this is possible. We had a la cart breakfast each morning at very reasonable prices. They run an honesty store onsite, first if seen like this, take what you need (coffee, beer, snacks, water, etc.....) and put your money in the cash box. There is plenty of parking if your are travelling in a group. I would stay here again no question and highly recommend Carlainton if you’re visiting Vigan.

After travelling for hours from Pagudpud, we just wanted to have a place to rest and sleep. We're looking for a budget-friendly hotel that we would be comfortable in. We booked last minute at Carlainton Transient House after driving for an hour around Vigan looking for a place to stay in. Thanks to Manang who gladly accommodated our family. The room we stayed in is very clean. The water in the CR is very strong as well as the AC. They also have cable TV. They also offer breakfast and have variety of goods in their Honest store. 😊 Will surely booked in here again the next time we visit Vigan.

Breakfast is available for budget price. Try their vigan longganisa.
They have honest store to test your honesty. Yet there is a CCTV.
Parking lot is available.
What we love on staying here is the people. we left our 4 packs of longganisa at their ref, and we remember it when we return home at laguna, we called them to asked if they have it and if they can send it to us. They ship it out it via bus (after sending the shipping fee). They are very kind to froze the longganisa first and sealed it in a package so it won't get wasted since it will take 8-10 hrs trip.

Also, their special vinegar is a must buy. Perfect for bagnet, chicharon and of course, the longganisa.

Book in advance because I saw mrs. Carlainton very hands on texting and answering calls for room reservation every now and then. Their house is always jam packed. They can accomodate up to 100.

Go make a deal with them. I recommend this place.

That was our first out of town and we enjoy the company. Staffs are commendable. I also appreciated their honesty store where there is no cctv camera in the area. Good job!

If you're looking for a place away from the busy street of Vigan, this is the best place to stay. They have simple, clean room and bathroom and free wifi. They also have 24h honesty store. You can cook your own food if you want or ask the owner to cook it for you. The couple who owns the transient house is very nice and accommodating. It's a 15-min walk or 5min drive away from Calle Crisologo :)

It was good They have breakfast and they recommend tourist spots.The manager also is really kind bathroom is a good and they have free wifi and Cable on tv. Its a really good transient house i recommend it highly if you want to go to vigan that is :D
