If you have a car, or are willing to commute a bit from old Vigan in order to stretch your budget, then a transient home is what you need.

This transient home is also handicapped-accessible and good for seniors with about 5 (?) rooms on the ground floor of this 2-storey house. Important - because a lot of the hotels in old Vigan itself don't have elevators being 2-storey buildings.

What I love here:
Amazing value-for-money, starting at P1,000 for twin-share rooms
Large, clean and spacious new rooms (only 3-years old)
Air-con with black-out curtains
Free Wi-Fi - best on 2nd-floor rooms
Dispenser for hot and cold water
Ask Manang to do your laundry for you as needed
Vigan longganisa with eggs and rice for breakfast only - you can also cook your own meals at P150 Kitchen fee

The cons:
Not in old Vigan or the commercial district so it's best for those with cars
Brownouts or water outages, if they happen - no back-up water or power
Breakfast only - no options for lunch or dinner
Parking is tight - really only good for 1-3 cars at most

This is a homey, clean and family-run inn with personalized service. If you have a car and want to save on hotel costs... This is perfect.
