A refreshing spring located in a remote area of Lagayan, Abra.
Lusuac Spring’s former name was bubuan, which means lubluban (wallow in) in Ilocano. Seeing as a good place for tourism and not just a lubluban for carabaos, a former congresswoman developed the spring into a pool and a picnic resort and then named it for what it is now.
The water is so freaking cold. Compare to falls that has downtime, the spring doesn’t lose water all year round. It’s amazing that the water virtually came from nothing overflows down the plains. There are locals plunging their containers at the edge of the pool. The underground of that edge is where the potable spring water gushing out. Nothing to worry if you drank some when you swim or you forgot to buy some distilled water before you go to the place.
The pool there has shallow and deep parts so it can be enjoyed by all ages. There is also a slide for added enjoyment. Dipped your feet at the shallow water where the tiny fishes await to offer “foot spa massage.”
Below the pool is where the excess water falls for the plains and some carabaos that also want to lublob. We’ve challenged the strong drop of water from above and it was great (muscle pain gainer).
The limited toilet rooms are a bit disconcerting especially when you are on a very large group. Be prepared to fill a bucket from the pool before using the toilet.
Well, at least the entrance fee costs only 20 pesos per head, while the cottage rent is 200 pesos. Perfect for a summer getaway.

Very refreshing. The only hassle is ghe Comfort room for shower and changing of clothes. You will fall in line amd wait for your turn. Also, the doors are broken and no faucet available. You are going to fetch for your own water
