Kiangan Shrine

It is popularly know also as Yamashita Shrine. The place is really good for picnic ( though we haven't tried it there). It is also child friendly because the grounds are flat and with Bermuda grass. As you go upstairs to the shrine, you need to be careful though as the stairs are kindly steep but the view is worth it.

Great place to rest and have alone time or also with family members and friends.

Very clean. Fresh air. For travelers, there is also a parking area. Kind staff. Peaceful. We came from the cities, so we cant really feel the fresh air, the true cold weather. Hihihi. The place is great. The grasses are well trimmed including bushes. You can see clearly other places. We went to the museum, saw the traditional clothing(it was well versed). The early utensils. Bolos and spears. The early photos of great great grandfathers. Im sure this is still enhanced in some areas of Ifugao. Anyways, I feel relaxed in the area for the first time in my life. Thank you for the time and peaceful place.

Quiet place overlooking the municipality of Kiangan. (climb up the tower for a better view of the town). Place has a small Ifugao museum too.

I went there i bit late but the guards were so kind enough to let me in kudos thank you so much.

They've ask me where I came from then I said I came from Bauko, Mountain Province ; an answer I always automatically give though actually I am from Bauko but I traveled from Baguio city to Kiangan Ifugao that day so i travelled around 7 hours just to visit there place.

The museum was obviously closed that i have-not had chance to take a look but the entire ground was wide it so green on top was a stone made local bahay kubo we call it inatep but i dont actually know how they call is was a wonderful place to relax i hope i can get back and do better site of the shrine.

Good place to experience and get to know more on the culture of Cordillera.
Staff are accommodating and knowledgeable on the culture.

Yamashita Shrine! Everyone knows about history. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO VISIT.
