Kainan sa Baryo

This is where I discovered red rice and how healthy it is. They serve it as a choice variant for those who are health-conscious. But you can also ask for white rice. Some of the food are offered turo-turo style but some are prepared as you order. Reasonably priced.

It's an alternative choice over other restaurants around the area for travellers going to Tuguegarao, Cagayan and other towns cities in Northeastern Luzon, and for local folks as well.

I'm not sure if they offer dinner, though. Open parking is on a first come, first served basis. Clean but small restrooms. Staff are friendly.

This is one of the best lutong bahay here in Nueva vizcaya. They serve a wide array of lutong bahay ulam. They also serve exotic foods like ginataang suso, native chicken tinola, grilled tilapia/hito, sometimes frogs, ant eggs, you name it! A lot of travellers going in and out of Cagayan valley region always drop by here. It is located right beside the national hiway so it is very much accessible.

The food is particularly good, the serving can feed two people and what's good about it is it's very affordable! They also give OR for any travellers in OB for refunds. Hehe
