Napo Beach Resort

We had a great stay here. The staff were really nice and accomodating. They serve nice food. Lovely pool area with an amazing view. You can snorkel right in front of the resort where there is a lot of coral and fish. They organised a boat and food to go to Sambawan island. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Very Nice location in Maripipi. The owners and the personal are really nice and give a lot of advices on island excursions, snorkelling, walk on the nearby villages (also possible to Climb the volcano with local guides). They can help you to arrange all your transports. Kayak are also available. Merci encore pour tout !

Around August 3rd Week, I had the honor of staying (and getting stuck, thanks to the Typhoon) on this wonderful place!

The rooms are great for the price, the surrounding area is really nice, the Coral Reef in front of the resort is really nice, the food is great...

But the best part is the people! It's a Family Resort, and they took really great care of me even when I got sick while staying in the resort and being stuck.

They also have an Internet Connection, which is REALLY rare as Mobile Data is hard to come by on that part of the island.

Thank you so much to the Napo Beach Resort family! Will definitely come back there some time!

Just amazing, beautiful location, great food, friendly staff and Emilita is very helpful and made my trip very easy and pleasant. It is very peaceful and quiet, love the pool and the backpacker hut was very comfortable. Would go back again.

Napo Beach Resort was a magnificent place to stay

Location

Situated in Barangay Viga on the North of the island, it is reached by Habal-Habal (100p)l from the main port (with boats from Naval & Kawayan).

You can reach Sambuwan Island from the resort by private for 1200p (this is boat price and is divided between how many people are going from the resort and will return when you ask them to). Sambuwan has an entrance fee of 100p, you can stay overnight if you wish, snorkel, scuba dive and has a small shop. Napo beach will provide lunch if you ask.

Service

Exceptional. Never have I stayed somewhere where I was made to feel so welcome, exactly like a family member/ very good friend. The owners are wonderful people who simply cannot do enough for you and their staff are very friendly and are very well trained. The food and service you will receive is impeccable.
Prices are roughly double what you would pay in a standard town, e.g. Naval but superior in quality, love and attention to detail. General prices are p225 per meal and large beers are p180. Breakfast coffee and toast is around 60 pesos.

Massages are available for p300 and are very good.

A clean and well maintained swimming pool is on site.

Kayaking and snorkeling are possible from the jetty at Napo beach. You can view Angel fish, clown fish and an array of different coral and fans. You may even spit a turtle!

Rooms

Selections are available - fan and air con and vary in price. The fan room is simple and comfortable. Toilets (simple Filipino) and showers are shared with the other simple fan rooms. Simple yet nice and I enjoy the rustic.

Excellent overall

Napo beach is a very nice place for relaxing and scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming and sunsets along the jetty.

Very good beach resort with a good place to stay in

Everithing is possible in Napo Beach Resort. Es la pura verdad. Es un alojamiento familiar, con habitaciones sencillas con aire acondicionado y una atención exquisita. Emy y JD haràn todo lo posible por ayudarte y sin duda facilitarán tu paso por este remoto lugar. Hay un restaurant con cerveza fría y una comida muy sabrosa. La picina está al lado del mar y tiene unas vistas espectaculares. Hay amacas para descansar después de un largo día de relajo. Tienen un pequeño enbarcadero rodeado de aguas claras llenas de corales y peces. El atardecer y amanecer son alucinantes. Pueden organizar tu viaje a ver Sambawan, te saldrá mas barato y el barco te recogerá en el enbarcadero, lo que lo simplifica todo. Bello bello, seguro que volveré. Muchas gracias.

Very private island, you can climb mountains, hike, swim, snorkel, rowing... The island has only this accommodation, maybe only your group of tourists, a rare experience, the New Zealand boss is very good, don't worry about anything, he Will help you get everything done, 👍

Nice place to stay there a few days. The room with aircon was ok. The rooms without aircon looked not so good. The resort is nicely decorated with flowers and plants. There is a small pool where you can swim. No beach to swim on Maripipi! Food was good, cooked by the very friendly owner. Daytrips to Sambawan island can be arranged by the owner...don't forget to bring food and drinks there. The friendly owner will be pleased to provide a lunch and drinks to take with you. Not much to do on Maripipi so just relax here or make daytrips to the islands around which are great for snorkeling and swimming.
