Delicious brekfast litle bit expensive like for philipinos but worth it

Good service and perfect beach!!

We arrived at night without having dinner, so we asked the staff if they can prepare as food.
Which I thought was expensive.
We waited a lot for our food because they called the chef from his home back to the hotel which I was very thankful.
And the food I thought expensive was worth it. Big servings and very tasty.
They accept credit cards. And you can use their kitchen if you want to have a cheap stay. We made pancit canton there and they allow us to use their plates and utensils.
If without our tour guide, we won't know it here. Very cheap place to stay. And we can stay here by the beach whole day.
Just had a problem with the shower that gets cold.

This a great place to stay if your a large group. The ocean is right here for some casual wading and swimming. They have a bar although I don't drink so can not give a fair review. Booked through airbnb and while the original contract with host was very lenoir and difficult to communicate the days leading up to our stay they were very on point even going so far as to create a WhatsApp conversation for easier contact. They arranged everything for our canyoneering tour of kawasan and the guide even planned ahead to make sure those unable to go on the canyoneering were able to get to the first and second levels. I proposed to my girlfriend at kawasan first level and I couldn't have achieved such a wonderful and order setting if it wasn't for the hosts diligent communication and working with me to make it a truly memorable experience.

The down sides:
Their water pressure comes from local barangay and during the day it's practically non existant, in the evenings it works better but still very weak. This is beyond the host's control but understand this is a province home stay, not a western resort.
Second the rinse shower doesn't work so until it's fixed be ready to bucket rinse just like the Filipinos.
The beach is a real beach and those there are many small shells and stones with the water full of mounds that can make wading difficult. Wear water shoes or other foot protection. If you look north you can clearly see the cliffs and that's the norm for thirds location, having a beach at all is very lucky.
They mentioned a possibility of a bonfire but I forgot to follow up so I can't speak as to how that would have been.

Summary: this is a home stay and if your not prepared to live without the western luxuries then please don't blame the hosts, they are friendly and ready to help. We had the room and freedom as if it was our own home during our stay. I give it four stars only because the shower that was installed was broke (at least for three men's room) but over all I highly recommend this for large groups of backpackers or if traveling with Filipino families.

Very nice place relaxing

We were very disappointed by our stay here. The people who were at the bar when we arrived were very surprised we came, and did not have the room ready. No one showed any interest talking to us, having any conversation, sharing about the are or offering us any trips.. shame. The kitchen (shared with the staff who is preparing breakfast there in the morning) is very dirty and old. The beach is not suitable for swimming most of the day due to rocks and low tide and it’s not very nice. A lot of stray dogs around and it all has a very run-down feel to it. On top of it, both of the nights the electricity stopped working, so no A/C (which is btw VERY loud), the toilet wasn’t flushing, WiFi had terrible connection, and we only had bucket shower most of the time. Unfortunately none of it was communicated with and when asked, the people were not able to speak English or explain anything.
