Hostel La Vista

Amazing place.
The owner Charlie is awesome, makes you feel very welcome, girls went free diving in the morning to meet the guardians of alegria and then sunset for dolphin watching, sat on the beach with a campfire and watch the sunset.

If you want a real local experience, forget Moalboal and head to Hostel La Vista in Alegria. Charlie is an awesome host, he tours people to secret falls, cooks a great chicken kebab and starts a bonfire. The accomodation is clean and spacious. Probably born of the more spacious bunk beds around the area. You are literally staying next to locals and you can even join the kids for a session of paddling. For those that love marine life, about 100 meters away, you already see nice corals and just by the shore there are already small fishes around and did I say the water is crazy clear? Definitely a place for those who hate touristy stuff and authentic Filipino hospitality.

Best hostel to stay in Cebu, 10 minutes away from kawasan falls, also the owner takes you out on his private tour to see the secret waterfalls!! The experience is unreal! You're treated like one of the family at hostel La vista, I've been to the Philippines 4 times now and I always stay here, if you want that real beach life experience, then stay here, after your days they will put a beach fire on, have some drinks and BBQ, Al during the day you can go see the dolphins, Charlie the owner will take you on his boat to see them (as seen on the pictures), Also has a kayak that you can jump on for the fun! - Go to his Instagram @Grooveling to see more.

one of the best and peaceful place to stay. It's fun for free divers and scuba divers alike. There are plenty of fish and sometimes, turtles, around the reef few meters away from shore. Definitely a go to place!

You'll wake up to a beautiful view of the ocean. If you're lucky, you'll get to see dolphins in the morning. People are amazing especially the owner.

Very accessible to different waterfalls such as Cambais Falls (Alegria, Cebu) and Kawasan Falls (Badian, Cebu).

If you're planning to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, this place offers the serenity and peace that you need.

Food of uncle joe is great. The view is so good. The room is new. However, the beach is rocky. But that's no ones fault, it's what nature wants.

Mr. Charlie is an amazing guy, they have a sea right behind their house, there are lovely dogs if you are a animal lover

It's a good place.... But need to do alot of improvements....but if they want to give local ordinary house vibe then they are doing well.
