We visited this place on a Sunday morning and loved the amazing ambiance. The open walls allowed fresh air to circulate, keeping it cool even in hot weather. The panoramic views of the mountains and valleys were breathtaking, making for a truly relaxing experience. The place truly is Instagrammable—photographers and vloggers will surely love it. We enjoyed lounging on the floor pillows and the net seating.

Regarding the food, the iced caramel latte was delightful. However, the breakfast meals are slightly overpriced. I had the cornsilog, but the corned beef was just the standard canned, sweet variety.

The atmosphere here is very incredible and relaxing since it is in a very overlooking area and only a few vehicles pass by the road so you wont really think its near the road. The food here is very delicious and affordable as well. The staff is also very accomodating and friendly.

Overall I would recommend one to visit this place if you are looking somewhere to relax, dine and unwind.

The place is a little far from the highway and even farther from proper Pamplona. You'll be greeted by one of their staff, which was polite and friendly, when you get there. Food is a little bit pricey, but it's worth the taste. The ambience is quite serene and windy. Good for families and friends to hang out. Great place for picture taking and overall a good place to spend a hot afternoon.

2021 Visit: Great coffee and place. The place is windy. We went here on a hot day and time at 1:30pm but the wind is strong, enough to cool us. They also follow health protocols, so its relatively safe to visit. There are beautiful nooks here good for insta photos. You should visit this place when you are in Pamplona.

2022 Visit: Opening hours changed slightly. We visited late in the afternoon. Since the west side is clear of trees, the sun hit us...but it wasn't too hot to bear. There was a cool breeze to match. Food was served quickly. As of August, I think some of the plants are still being grown/recovering from the bagyo in December.

Sakada Cafe Farm is Tanjay City's little Tagaytay.

A short 20-min drive from the main town, Sakada is on elevated ground and is an idyllic and open little cottage with nature-filled views of green mountains and blue skies 360 degrees.

Food is delicious and served freshly cooked from the kitchen. The menu is a collection of Filipino favorites -- pastas, churros, breads and silog (egg and fried rice) mains. Prices are reasonable and top-notch but pasta serving sizes are snack-sized. Order multiples for a main-sized portion. (We ordered what seemed like 11 carbonara plates!)

Tips: on a rainy day, wear HIKING SHOES that are mud-proof so you're free to roam around the cottage! There's an adorable little garden of herbs and vegetables on the side in what I can only assume is a free-for-all picking because only the flowers are protected by signs.

Sakada is mostly an adult sanctuary -- a place of respite from the busy city, and not children-proof (not yet, at least).

Accross the street is a non-gated cliff where anyone can fall if not careful. But that view is amazing!

If you're in the mood to see the PALASPAS falls after, bring hiking gear with you. My friend RM who has either been or not been there exclaims the falls are worth visiting. But I bet the locals say the falls are cursed by ancient magic that turns single folk into petrified stone. But must be worth it for the views and insta content!

Tip: as you turn to Stone, shed a tear in the last minute for dramatic effect!
