Canhugas Nature Park

World class attraction for its rock formations, ease of access, convenience of CR, various swimming holes. It’s better to explore this beautiful park on your own without pesky guide that motherly your every move. Most formations can be just strolling right up to it in low tide, so check your tide table for lowest possible tide (0ft is best). Picnic table, chairs, umbrella rental is ~p145. Parking is p20 payable to the old man across the street (he actually remember which car you drive so no double charge for the same day!). Lunch or dinner can be had at Fun Houz Sport Bar right next to the park. Or you can have picnic in one of the rented pavilions. Just take your time here to allow yourself to be centered without any distractions

I recommend going there at around March, where Amihan is not that strong anymore but still there are splashes of big waves. I also recommend you going there with swimming or hiking shoes if you want to climb those rock formations coz its sharp. I also recommend Maridee, a tour guide there, she's nice and she knows the best spots to take pictures 👌👌👌

The place is really nice but if you want to go on the rocky areas, you should bring at least swimming shoes and gloves. It’s very pretty and relaxing to watch the waves

For Nature Lovers out there, come and dive-in to this nature park given to us by Nature. Endulge, swim and pose while waves break in. Locals suggest to us to visit there when summer time so that you can walk near to the gigantic rock formation and feel the waves struck your bodies. #vitaminsea🌊

Great scenery! How great thou art!

Definitely one of the places if you are around Eastern Samar, Philippines. Canhugas is the top destination in Hernani, that offers wonderful scenery of the natural rocks and coral reef. We can also see sunset in this beach, however you shall notice that in the sunset time mostly the sea water will rise, hence if you choose to walk a little bit further to one of the big coral rocks that near the natural pool, it is going to be hard to find a dry walking line back to the the coastal line. So be prepared to have your clotes wet. Additionally the access to reach this location is actually pretty hard if you dont bring your own vehicle, so be well prepared before going to this place.

Lying in ocean's bed underneath a rock formation with warm sea water gently soothing my  achy, tired, worn out body, staring at the blue sky scattered with white clouds and a silhouette of a crescent moon..
With Mr.Sun shining brightly, what has given me enough shade was  the beautiful rock directly above me, sticking over it  were  different floras...
Birds chirping, the distant splash of waves and the gentle lapping of the warm water, believe were more than enough to lull me to sleep..only to be  awaken by my son's concern that i'm lying over numerous starfishies and other sea creatures.

I can be here all day and just watch and listen to the big waves.
