Herencia Cafe

This restaurant is found just in front of the Paoay Church. The ambience of the place is really nice. One of the spots inside the restaurant even offers a view of the church while dining.
The food also tastes great. I'm not really familiar with Ilokano food but trying the dishes I wasn't familiar with was worth it. It may be a bit pricey for some with prices ranging from 120 to 500 pesos. But the amount is already enough for 2 or more people.
One of the things people come here for is the pinakbet pizza. It looks like an ordinary pizza with vegetables as toppings. You might think that it may also offer a unique taste. But the cheese somehow masks the other flavors of the vegetables. Except I think for the ampalaya whose bitterness cuts through yet still keeping the balance of flavors.
The restaurant's service was good as well. The waiters, mostly students I guess, were always ready to assist you.

Delicious food, vintage vibes, great service... what more can we ask for? Try their famous pinakbet pizza! It’s sooo good!! Sorry no hot sauce, only bagoong and it’s perfect! Actually, we ordered a half and half. Half pinakbet - half ilocandia pizza (the one with Vigan longganisa). And every bagnet dish is crispy and tasty, just immaculate! Will definitely visit again soon!

The best food we tasted during our stay in Paoay, the staff are very accomodating as well, prices are of midrange, it was a great experience to eat here, must try!

Very friendly and approachable staff. The food is a given: delicious, huge servings, affordable! And the ambiance is very welcoming with that complete Filipino-Spanish look. Must visit when going to Paoay.

I am a fond of pizzas and I am amazed with the flavors of pizzas this restaurant offers. We ordered vegetable pizza here. I saw in their menu, they also have dinuguan flavor. Woah! I wondered how does it tastes like. 😅

The place is so cozy plus the ambience is really great specially during the night. The food is great as well and it really pleases your taste buds.
