Mangatarem River Park

About a mile from the highway. Has different access roads.
Closest access road: Bayaoas west, Bayaoas, Aguilar.
Very clean and clear water. Mountains and hill are accessible with a trail. Has a very nice view from the top.
Advisable time for visitors: deep waters occur during rainy seasons. Early morning for you to get a good spot. You may cook your own stuff, just make sure you'll dispose your left overs properly.
Status: as of december 25, 2020, open only for locals.

I love this place. It is so relaxing, refreshing and very nature friendly. It is almost 5km from the main highway. We walked down onto the river until we found the perfect spot(shady). Water is clean and cold. Be like a camper since no bathrooms or any place you can change wet clothes or even do your thing. There are lot of visitors during holiday and weekends. Also there are already parking areas for your vehicle.

Hidden gem ng Aguilar 😫 tho need talaga ng sasakyan, mas maganda kapag motor ang gamit. Worth it ang ganda ng place. Sarap mag-picnic! Walang nagbebenta dito so bring your essentials.

Sobrang linaw. Sana hindi bulabugin ng mga irresponsableng turista. Yung pacalat sobrang linaw din noon tapos nung nakilala, binulabog pumangit tuloy. Maraming madulas/malumot na part kasi hindi madalas dinadaanan ng tao. Best time para pumunta ay before 10:00AM or after 4:00PM, kung gusto niyo ng malamig na tubig

The water is warm and very calm. Its a nice place to unwind. But I recommend not to bring any heavy foods here. Just bring light foods like snacks, fruit and of course water. This has a 4 stages? I think. The 3rd is the best for me.
