Solea Coast Resort Panglao

This rating is for the rooftop bar and lobby bar only. If you want one of the best sunset spots with 360 views - this place is the best location. Drinks are on the pricier side, and I always ask to reduce on the sugar, but the sunsets are peaceful and unbeatable.

The downstairs offers popcorn and baked goods - probably the best cookie I’ve had around. The service is always kind.

If you’re looking for a quieter place to stay, it’s 5 minutes off the main road so very easily accessible to everything if you have a motorbike or car. Not so much for walking. The beach here is not the best, but the pool and the rest of the resort looks nice.

Great hotel/resort, very clean, modern, cold aircon/AC, fast WiFi, free welcome drink, pool towel, pool/billards table, gym and slide!

Oh, and you can see the person your with in the shower/toilet. There is a glass wall next to the bed looking into the CR/restroom/bathroom/washroom/water closet.

But there is a 1000 pesos deposit per night they never tell you about beforehand when booking the room... 😒

I reallly enjoyed this stay for 2nights. Though we had to take tuk tuk to every where, I love the view of room and breakfast and satisfied with this price.

Anyway, i reallly appreciate to John who helps me to change my ferry ticket. As he helped me, i could solve the problem. He is nice and kind. He sholud be more retreat by the hotel. He is deserved.🤍🤍

As a guy who has stayed at multiple resorts on Bohol, I was shocked by this, since for the price, you get a fantastic location to stay, as well as a bright and pleasant place to stay. I felt like I was in paradise!

A perfect place to stay and relax. Has a great view of the sunset especially on the Salt & Sky Lounge.

A lot has improved a year after we first came here. i can say i love this hotel more now. 😍 the interiors, design, the earth all day dining wide selection breakfast buffet (love the coffee), Mini playground for Mason, the cute intricate details.

Staff were friendly as usual, rooms are really nice and modern, great value for your money at least if you compare to mainstream hotels in Bohol. Wifi was good, no need to log in to connect. Didn’t have an issue with it.

What really made us go back here aside all these features is the kid friendly pool and its proximity to the beach sand. Easy for parents to look after the kids without going far away from the hotel pool where they just swim right in once they’re done playing with sand. In my opinion, the design of the pool is the safest i’ve seen so far. We like the quiet ambiance here so it didn’t matter that we were far from alona. One thing though the pool gets warmed due to hot weather, it might get too warm to enjoy soaking your body there just like my 10month old who we brought in there for his first swim lols. But what can we do hahaha but my 2 yo didnt mind 😉.

Overall we really had a great time making memories here on this hotel. Glad my husband chose to stay here for his birthday.

We had a great time taking pictures during sunset at the Salt & Sky Lounge. It was the highlight of our stay in the resort.

I chose this hotel because of its interior and ambiance. It did not disappoint as the hotel is newly-built. The service of staff, the amenities, the food, the room, the lobby, the pool, they are all great. The location, however, is really not near the Alona beach but the hotel itself is equipped with its own beach front where you can relax, have a drink while just looking at the sunset. If you are looking for a quiet place and serene atmosphere, then this is the place to be. Definitely Value for money!! 👍👍

One of the best stays in town. Thou a little bit far from the alona. They have a free shuttle service to the town. Beach front is okay not very good for swimming because the sea is a little bit muddy and the shoreline has many seaweeds. I think they dont have a beachcomber that cleans the shoreline. much better to swim in the pool. We went to dumaloan beach to swim

Highly recommended! It was the most wonderful time of the year. We had our Christmas party and it was a blast!

The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was friendly! The beach front is great for lounging and relaxing but there are better areas for swimming. The food and bar dishes and drinks were also pretty good. The only thing that felt like a miss was the pool bar's choice of music - it was loud club music that didn't match the chill, relaxing and premium vibe of the place (the restaurant had a more appropriate playlist).

We've enjoyed our stay here! It's definitely worth every dime. A little far from Alona (center) but there are tricycles nearby and in front of the hotel so there's no problem. The staff are all pleasant, kind and good. They're warm and their overall hotel service is really great! The rooms are all clean and smell really good.

I love the view where our room was assigned during ELA (rm№211), overlooking the poolside and the shoreline. They have the biggest rooms with queen-sized beds, perfect for family vacations. If you our want serenity during furloughs, you'd love to stay here. And if you want night life, you may just have to travel more or less 1km but I guess not for long because you will miss your bed at the Solea🥰🥰🥰

Solea resort in Panglao has very spacious and clean rooms. They have very good facilities and is directly accessible to the beach. They provide water stations in each level of the building and their staff is very helpful and accomodating. The food is superb and the breakfast is sumptuous. Truly one of the uprising resorts in Bohol.
