The tour around the museum is more organized now. There are guides on each station who will explain to you what's in the gallery (they're not experts as most of them are interns from senior HS or college doing immersion but they're really genuine and kind enough to assist you). There are some unique collections here, and I love the last gallery as it is more interactive.

The Sorsogon Provincial Museum hosts a collection of artifacts from within the province. It is located at the nearby Sorsogon Provincial Capitol. Not a large museum compared to the others but still showcases items from different time periods like Pre-Hispanic artifacts and also from the Spanish Era. It also has a newspaper collection from the late 20th century. A quick visit but one that will enrich your knowledge about the Bicol region.

They turned provincial jail (1920) to this very beautiful Museum 😍❤💯

I've learned a lot about Sorsogon's history from this museum. They also have guides which are knowledgeable about Sorsogon's history.

History tells it all but, it's up to us if we'll believed in them. History teaches us lessons from the pass---the suffering of common people, the fight sometimes disregarded and the way of living from that point in time. But if we failed to understand them, it become just a mere attraction for mediocres. Have a nice day!

Tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining the exhibits. He also spoke English well which was important for me as my tagalog is very limited. Learned alot about the region and it's history. Would definitely recommend visiting the museum.
