Been attending Mass here since 1970s. But churchgoers participation can be improved by using the same hymns instead of frequently changing the hymns at the option of the choirmaster. It is important for parishioners to join in the Mass. But having different new songs does not help at all. People cannot sing what they do not know.

For the parish, more engagement by parishioners is likely to produce more engagement in parish activities, including more contributions. If that matters to the parish
