ALONA PAWIKAN

I stayed in 3 different hostel / hotel in Panglao and this was by far the most quiet and clean I have been to. It is not so far from the center by foot, good hot shower, big room, comfortable bed and new aircon.
Would prefer no fridge in the room since it makes a little white noise in the background. Otherwise perfect. Totally recommend!

The amenities and services provided by this resort truly beyond your expectations. Nicely kept, comfortable bed with a sitting place on the front outdoor space. I enjoy that the location is convenient to everything. It's only ten-minute walk to Alona Beach. They also offer motorbike rental ranging from 350-500. I will definitely book here again.

We stayed for 4 nights during our short stay in Panglao island.
Alona Pawikan staff have been incredibly helpful throughout our stay from arranging the tuktuk to pick us up from the ferry port, booking a private boat tour to Balicasag island, renting scooters, laundry service etc,.

Everything was well taken care of, and when in doubt, just ask. Everyone is very friendly and always willing to help. The private boat tour was 4x cheaper than what you will get from tour groups.

The location is great, only 2 minutes walk to the famous Overgrown cafe and all the other restaurants near Alona Beach.

We recommend staying at Alona Pawikan if you're looking for a serene stay close to all the restaurants and the popular Alona Beach.

I stayed at this resort 3 times already. The rooms are really nice, strong AC, little fridge and hot water. I really enjoyed the vibe there. Staff is always there to help you and the owner is such a nice person. I highly recommend this place to be close to everything and at the same time in a quiet environment. The bungalows are well decorated and they also have Smart TV.

The staff were very kind and took care of us in many ways. The inn is located in the forest and is quiet. The rooms are clean and have hot showers. You can enjoy Spotify and Netflix on your TV. It was a shame that the bar I was looking forward to was closed due to a fire. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the downtown area where you can go to restaurants, massages, etc. The road in front of the hotel was dark at night, but it was safe for a woman to walk home alone even late at night. 15 minutes walk to Alona Beach. I would like to stay here again the next time I come to Bohol.

Great place with a nice garden feel to it. Rooms are clean and in good condition. Great bed, gotta say, that bed was a winner. And l always like a super clean bathroom with the extra effort on style and quality like theirs is. I stayed a week and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Ridiculously good value for the money was my feeling on leaving, and I will be back. Thanks Pawikan

Loved this place! The staff were lovely and the garden is beautiful. As a dog person, it was strange and confusing to form such a bond with one of the cats.

Nicely located to enjoy Panglao and Bohol from, only 10 mins walk to Alona beach. Lovely room exactly as pictured, impressive for the price. I almost gave the service four stars, but it wasn't their fault the bar was closed during my visit, and there are plenty of bars around (including a good one next door) so five stars it is as they were relaxed and helpful.

I had been planning a trip to Alona and chose Alona Pawikan totally at random. I had already booked my flight and needed a place to stay! Turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made. Clean, comfortable room with a 50 inch TV! And the fastest WiFi around.Walking distance to Alona Beach, onsite scooter rental and the coolest staff you could ask for. These folks know ALL the right places to go.They even sent my laundry out! Also hooked me up with a top notch dive instructor. I had originally booked a 30 day stay and ended up staying 4 months! By the time I left I felt like family. You can't go wrong staying here. (hope to see you guys again soon)

Really nice place! Rooms are clean and stylish and the bar is cosy and well equipped! Location is also great as a bit away from the touristy bit but not too far. The best about the place is probably the staff. They are just super friendly and really really helpful!!! We also liked that you can get your water bottles refilled.

Please be aware that there is no pool and it’s also not directly at the beach as dome of the pictures indicate.. Apparently the owner is trying to get the pictures of the pool removed from the google images but not successful so far.

Would still definitely recommend the place and would give more stars if I could!

Ken’s is a laid back establishment that serves up a wide assortment of beers, cocktails and my favorite: Taco Tuesdays! Enjoy their tasty tacos at a discounted price. Yes, there is a vegetarian option but my favorite is the pork. Ken and everyone who works there is friendly and attentive. There is even a billiards table if you choose to test your luck! I love this little gem, highly recommended :)

So homey. The staff are courteous. The room is spacious. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The place to come to try a range of delicious craft beers from all over Philippines on your trip to Bohol. Very relaxed and friendly place.

This place was just perfect. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach which is the only downside. But I wouldn't even really call it a downside cause it's quiet there and you can just chill in the room which is incredible for the price or at the bar which has a great selection of craft beers and a wide array of alcoholic beverages. They also have taco Tuesdays! The staff are friendly and actually helpful. Seriously, if you're coming to Bohol, definitely consider staying here.

Rooms are excellent and comfy. Big beds, lots and LOTS of power outlets, sensical aircon, private cottage type, well lit and ventilated during the day, and small verandah. If I have to nitpick then its the huge TV in the room that we never use during our 4nights stay. The cost of the TV could go to upgrading some of the furniture or lowering the price. But this is nitpicking.
Plenty of options in the bar altho like most in Alona, slightly overpriced. Services can't be better. A simple yet proper coffee bar would be a welcomed addition.
Certainly my first choice when I'm in Alona/Panglao.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Our stay there was absolutely lovely. Not only you get to sleep in nice and clean bungalows, but the staff is super helpful and kind. The girls went above and beyond with everything, from scooter rentals to tour suggestions, even after we checked out. I highly recommend it

Ken' s Place is the best bar in town. Pool Table, huge repertoire of drinks and beer. Very chill. U sit outside but under a roof. Very good bar. Spent every evening here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! Cozy and clean bungalows, located in a quiet area, while still just a short walk away from town and the beach.

The bar offers a good selection of beers and spirits, and has an excellent atmosphere.

A special mention goes out to Ken, Pam, Lyn and the rest of the staff who always had a smile on their faces, came with great tips on what to see and where to eat and helped us facilitate our excursions!

Friendly and helpful staff, the shuttle service was great as well. Besides, the bar has great amount kinds of beers. Def recommend travelers staying for nights
