In July 1986 I married my Filipina beauty here in this beautiful church. Now, 37 years later, I still admire her (inner) beauty. Monsignor Father Alden Bolivar, who helped us to close the marriage bond, is still our friend. Thank you Alden!

Immaculate Conception Metropolitan Cathedral is another beautiful old Church in Capiz next to Panay Church. This is the first landmark that I've seen while entering the City center. I noticed it right away because it's huge and imposing. When I travel, I always made the Church as my reference point so that I'll not be lost. I visited this Church to pray my petitions and then got nearer to the altar and there I saw the beautiful dome. The Church interior is stunning.

Beautiful a d holy place. The people are friendly and welcoming. A meditation room is always available. The statues are inspiring and there are many side chapels.
