Belgian Bistro

I forgot to take photos of the menu, but this restaurant is next to the port. It is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., but the last call is at 8:30 p.m. There is an acoustic band on Saturday nights. This is just street parking.

The chef is Belgian. The staff seems to be overwhelmed when there are a lot of people, but so far, so good. I have visited for breakfast and dinner.

The food is great: the pizza was 250 pesos and has a really authentic taste, the pasta was great, and the apple pie is superb. Every time I visit, I order it. The price is reasonable, maybe 200 pesos per person, depending on what you order.

I keep coming back!

We tried their Valentine's Special Menu today. It makes me feel special and all the food tastes great. Super!

One of the best food experience in my life but for sure the best in the Philippines. Today my wife and me went for the Valentine's menu and it was outstanding. We enjoyed every little bit. Look at the menu and pics. Thank you chef Koen and staf for a great culinary day.

We ate here three times over the course of several days because we liked it so much. The Belgian chef-owner is very skilled.

The fish gratin was the most spectacular item on the menu and we had multiple. Perhaps the best dish I’ve had in multiple weeks of travel. Also amazing was the lasagna and the salmon and mango salad. Portions of food were generous and live up to the price tag. I strongly recommend this place.

Had a lovely dinner here! I had pork cordon bleu, followed by the apple pie special with ice cream. Both were delicious, with decidedly authentic quantities of butter, cream, and rich cheese in every dish. :)

An absolute gem to find in the Philippines. Anyone in the area should find their way here. Food is Cordon Blue quality. Yes the owner and chef is Belgian and has an extensive career in the art of cuisine. Extensive menu from appetizers to desserts, and everything on the menu is available. Food presentation is worth a photo shoot. You will not be disappointed.

I took my wife here for lunch after deciding to cross the ferry from sibulan. I was pleased to see that the owner was Belgian. I asked for some European food recommendations and I was suggested to try the pork cordon bleu. This had to be one of the best dishes I have had in the Philippines out of my four trips. We will definitely be coming back.

We did not expect that we would find a good restaurant at the south of Cebu. They have good amount of options to choose from appetizers, mains, desserts and drinks!

The staff were very friendly and chef was amazing!

Their food is reasonably priced & great portions as well. Our food was served all at once which was surprising.

We had Irish coffee, croissant sandwich & some seafood platter. Our friends ordered some salads, pizza and spaghetti bolognese.

We cant wait to go back and try more of their food 🤩 wish they would take cards for payment though

Very nice place. Feels like coming home. The owner Koen is a extremely good cook!! The choices to eat is enormous. If your like Belgian food and beers than this is the place to be!!! We will go back there!!

Drop by Belgium Bistro for lunch as it’s conveniently near Aguinid and Inambakan Waterfalls! Their huge menu (European and Filipino) enticed us, and we instinctively ask them what’s NOT available. But to our surprise, you can actually order anything you see in the huge menu. So we ordered Pork Kebab Orientale (pork tenderloin /w pineapple), Chicken Breast Baltimore, Pork Chop Jardiniere and were pleasantly surprise at the food quality; soft and juicy chicken breast marinated to perfection! Pork chop and tenderloin melt in your mouth with lingering tasty creamy sauce. A scrumptious lunch always made our day. So we back again for dinner to see if the food quality are the same! This time, we ordered 3-course Tourist (beef steak, soup, ice cream), Shrimp Brochette, and Pork loin. They all perfectly seasoned and the portions are satisfying. The price for those amazing dishes are very reasonable. The vehicle parking maybe limited but street parking just outside the gate. Seatings are spacious and cozy as many trees and shrubs provide natural hideaway. A quick visit to the kitchen proved to be an eye-opener; a cruise ship chef by trade, a perfectionist by one of his attribute… everything are its place. The scrumptious offering make us want to go back and try many other dishes if we happen to traverse this way!

Amazing good. Belgium waffles from a real Belgium dude. Some of the best food in the area!

We came to Oslob and didn't feel comfortable at all. There were no nice restaurants at all. We searched on google and found this one. It was quite far from our hotel and the main road around oslob is full of holes.

When we arrived there we ordered the cordon bleu and holly molly that was soooooo good. I couldn't believe it. The taste was incredible and you could see that there is a lot of love in the food. It helped us so much to feel comfortable and 100% made our day. The staff and the chef are so friendly and the overall experience was just so nice!

We can 100% recommend it in any way and the owner (chef) and the staff can be so proud. If you have the opportunity to go, you should definitely do so!

Great place in Santander. Run by Koen. Nice food with some original twists, and local ingredients as well. You can walk from both piers. Perfect day trip from Dumaguete.
Clean, fresh food, multi lingual, extensive drink list, affordable.
Starter was the salmon with mango. Main very nice dorado with prawn and mussels on provençal sauce.

Cute and peaceful little restaurant. We had the whole place to ourselves, about an hour before they closed. Everything was delicious, especially the dish (forgot the name) with prawns, spider crabs, tuna, smoked salmon and other smoked fish. Very friendly owner and waitress.

We love the waffles! The pizzas and all the foods. We had to come back 2 times because of the Belgian Waffles. Forgot to take some pictures but here are few photos of the pizza, belgian pancakes and apple pie... Really good!
