Before coming here, my gf was completely scared of snorkelling or scuba.
She ended up doing them both, including diving with the Whalesharks ;)

It's remarkable the patience and professionalism those folks can show off.

Big thanks to "Ape" which is like a mother, asking each and everyone about their breakfast preferences (type of food + time of serving) one evening in advance.

Definitely this is a place to come back ;)

It has been a true pleasure staying at the resort and to dive with them. The staff at the resort were extremely kind and helpful. We arrived early in the morning at 5.30am and they were ready at the bus stop to pick us up and drive us to the resort, where we were welcomed with a refreshing drink and then escorted to our rooms for an early check-in. The rooms are a tad small, but very clean and offer everything you might need. The beds are comfortable and the shower has a good enough pressure and water temperature. The pool is on the smaller side, however well maintained and lit up in the evenings. Breakfast was served in front of the room, they set the table and cleaned up nicely afterward.
The dive guide, Michael, was kind, knowledgeable, and professional. They were extremely flexible and accommodating concerning our dive plans and arranged a charter boat when needed to make sure we could dive at the points we wanted.
They also rent scooters, which was a perfect way to visit the nearby waterfalls. They also provided a peddle board and kayak for additional water activities and boardgames were available to use if wished.
If visiting the area of Santander or Oslob, this is a great place to stay at.

The divemasters are so patient and willing to teach so thoroughly.
The rooms are clean and the water pressure is good and heated also.
Great experience always here this was my 2nd time here!
You can also go snorkeling here it was so nice because the corals were soft corals which was something new to me

Cons: Pool is not so wide its just a diving pool so its very deep like 10ft

Sunset Beach Resort exceeded my expectations! The resort's location right on the beach is fantastic, offering stunning views of the ocean and unforgettable sunsets. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sunset Beach Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beachfront getaway.

The place was amazing. Having an overwhelming infinity pool while enjoying your drinks is just so great. The food was prepared and served at a very friendly price. Locals are just so easy to talk to.

Best place in Santander and probably in south part of Cebu. Rooms are clean, bright , spacious and modern. The owner is very nice and always willing to help you out and suggest things to do. Staff is always willing to go the extra mile.

Our stay at Southseas Beach Resort in Oslob was fantastic. Ben, our dive instructor, was amazing, and Sony provided excellent assistance. The service was top-notch, including convenient pickup and drop-off. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

We were blown away with this resort! All staff were very genuine and nice people, the food was delicious and the location perfect. We will definitely come back.

I am staying with a 4-year-old child and a close older sister. This place is far from Cebu, where Koreans come, but Dumaguete takes 30 minutes by boat and picks up at Liloan Port. I'm always happy and grateful while traveling, but I'm so grateful to the staff who always treat us with a kind and bright face and I'll come back one day. I want to go scuba diving with my child when he grows up.

A nice hidden spot at the ocean, with 3 little huts and two extra rooms above the reception level to rent. You are surrounded by other lots with owners of a few chickens and some pigs, which gives a bit of a farm atmosphere. The resort is well maintained and staff is helpful & available during the day. They have their own menu card to choose meals from, although partially things are just warmed up. Included is the breakfast (4 basics) which you can upgrade from the menu.

I did not take diving lessons but listened to one and AFAIK, they have a good diving instructor.
You have direct access to the sea, water is shallow at first with sand holes, corals and some fish. Good for snorkeling.

It is a few minutes walk to the next small city, where you can buy most of what you need and can't get at the resort for low price. Restaurants are a bit further and you want tricycle to go there.

We been there in December and had no mosquitos at all.

It's an oasis, but a bit of a trek to get there. Small family owned place. Staff are excellent, and food is good, although kitchen closes at 9pm, so you'll have to order by that time. Lorie, the cook, was awesome entertaining my fiance and I. All I have to say, it's a diamond in the ruff.... very modern bungalows and contemporary styled.

This resort is a very nice place to have a vacation with you're family ☺ the staff here is very professional, friendly and helpful.. You can also relax and enjoy seeing the ocean.

This beautiful and sweet hotel will make you guys feel relaxed and comfortable while you staying there. Host Eric did his best for us what we asked and there were very helpful staffs also in this hotel.
They were served a breakfast every morning in front of my room what time you want.
Only one thing we felt uncomfortable things was no good restaurant or cafe which is for dinner at night time around there.
Because santander is not touristic place.
but, we had a delicious dinner served in the hotel.
Try to ask of your dinner service
i recommend roasted whole chicken, salad and raw tuna salad!
We will come back this very nice hotel when we come to cebu!

SouthSeas is a boutique dive resort offering personalized diving adventures in South Cebu and Negros Oriental. The facilities are first class and the staff is competent and attentive. The dining and accommodations are top notch. Great service in all respects. Highly recommended.

This place is incredible. Brand new, clean, incredibly well taken care of and the owners and staff take hospitality to another level. Breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared and served in front of your villa. Awesome snorkeling. The place is setup for full scuba and it is PADI certified, however I am not a diver and never have done. But based in the snorkeling and 20m free diving, I would imagine the scuba diving is pretty special. Avoid Oslob for whale shark viewing at all costs. Horribly bastardised by the locals. We took one look at the whole charade, got back on the bus and went to South Seas for 3 days of solitude.

The sea is so clear and the food resort providing is inexpensive and delicious.
The guys there were really nice!
