Plaza Burgos

Clean little park and I appreciate how there are so many places to sit. It's nice to just spend time here having a picnic with your loved ones or walking your dogs. A cozy place to visit when you're tired of walking and taking a tour 😂 best times to visit is late afternoons😁

Just love the Dancing Fountains! The show was so amazing that it lasted for 20-30 minutes! It was about to start when we arrived. Buti nakahabol pa!

Along Burgos St., Florentino St., Jacinto St and Crisologo St. This place was built to commemorate Jose P. Burgos, one of the priests who were publicly executed by Spaniards in 1872 at Cavite. Plaza Burgos has food court which serves local specialties like Pipian (Chicken Porridge), Mikki (Noodle Soup), Sinanglaw (Beef Soup), Empanada, Okoy, Vigan Longganisa, Igado, Pinakbet and other local dishes. This place is beside St. Paul Cathedral and a 1-minute walk from famous Calle Crisologo, heritage site for ancestral houses, and 1-minute walk from Plaza Salcedo, also called as lagoon by the locals. Other nearby sites/establishments are: McDonalds, Divine World College of Vigan, Plaza Maestro Commercial Complex, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), Philippine National Bank (PNB), Jollibee, Chowking, Gerry's Grill, Seven Eleven, Seafood Island, Greenwich, Metrobank, Maybank, Bank of Commerce, Hap Chan, Marsha's Bibingka, Tongson's Bibingka, Tourism Office, Trellis Resto Bar, and Vigan Hotel.

During at night too much people at walking around and enjoing toward calle crisologo.Most peoples are seeing a very nice old houses,passing those kalesa pulling with a horse.

One of our stop overs during pur 5 daya North Loop motorcycle ride. Nice helpful people. Good food.prices just right. Plaza is very clean. Tricycles drivers are honest and really helpful.

The area is quite busy and expect a lot of students during weekdays.
Perfect area to rest when you get tired walking in calle crisologo.

There are canteen and fast food chains around the area.

Experience empanada, bagnet meals, miki, sinanglao and other atuhentic ilocano dishes, there are available clean public comfort rooms behind the stage, no payment.

Salute to the architectural design of houses and buildings. The culture in which every human race will LOVE. The Filipino living.

Visit this place during the night and after the earthquake. The whole place is so quiet. But it's still beautiful. I hope they can restore all the damage structures.

I came during the aftermath from the 7.1 earthquake and tourism lives on just like the locals of Vigan City a.k.a. One of the Seven Wonder Cities of the World.

a lot has improved thru the years. the food stalls are a lot more organized now with better seating without having to lose the old charm that is vigan.

You will definitely enjoy more if you experience Kalesa ride . Never missed to visit The Bell Tower, Former provincial jail but now Museum.

Too crowded during daytime but you will enjoy at nightime its just like going back in time during the spanish era that is when they started to discriminate filipinos. Nostalgic and historical food shops are everywhere and anywhere, you will enjoy your strolling.

It's my very first time to visit Vigan city and love it... Vigan city is the only in city in Philippines awarded as "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO and "New 7 Wonders Cities" in the world...

We arrive at Plaza Burgos early in the morning and it amaze me cause it's only 6:00 am yet the area is so clean, and you can see there are a lot of street sweeper and cleaner at the area.. Me and my family enjoy taking photo there. Plus the fact that it's surrounded by food court & vendors. In the afternoon the number of people are at peak and they are able to maintain cleanliness there. The only problem is there is no available comfort rooms/ wash room in the area (that is operational).
