Crisologo Museum

This museum used to be the house of an important local personality. It is very well presented with objects and photographs from different phases of life of Congressman Crisologo. The house is well maintained and easy to walk around.

It’s an absolute must to visit this museum. As a Vietnamese, i spent a little more time in the room which is dedicated for his time in the Vietnam war. Very beautiful house indeed.

A good place to learn about the Political history of Vigan.

From Calle Crisologo, you can either walk, which is about 6-10 minutes away, or you can take a tricycle. There's no entrance fee at the Crisologo Museum, but they have a donation box. It's a good idea to visit this museum because you can learn a lot about the historical life of Floro Crisologo and Vigan.

Fantastic little museum for some of the local history, just steps away from the main Street. It's free, but you'll feel like donating after the tour. A nice little girl provided some commentary of the exhibits. It's not air conditioned so it's slightly warm.

Such a wonderful place to be at with your friends. Knowing the past helps us to appreciate more the things we enjoyed today. Please donate so that the future generation will benefit, appreciate and instill the importance of their contribtions to our society.

Museums are always a must when visiting a new place. And one of the must see is the crisologo museum where it houses memorabilia of the prominent Crisologo family of Vigan. This is the house that was turned into a museum where the Crisologo children was raised and grew up. This museum has preserved the personal effects of the illustrious family. The patriarch has served as a soldier and later in the government as congressman. He was assassinated while inside the cathedral. His death remains to be unsolved up to this time. Free entrance to visitors, voluntary donation is accepted upon registration. The host is very gracious to tour us to the place.

Amazing experience! Their caretaker is one of the best person you can talk to about history of this place as well as the person behind this museum. Although no entrance fee was needed, they will ask you for donation but not forcing you on it. But trust me, every donation you will give to this place is worth every penny since the caretaker will take care of every information you need on the museum.

A visit to Vigan will never be complete without exploring Crisologo Museum which let you know more about the Crisologos political life in Ilocos Sur. The place has a lot of memorabilia everything about the prominent family.

The museum is beautiful to look at, also showing the lifestyle of wealthy Filpinos in the early years. Admission is a voluntary donation.

They make you feel like you should donate some money when you get in tho, its just me being kuripot. 😁

This is a must see if you are visiting Vigan Heritage Town. Entrance is free and donations are very much welcome. There are plenty of museum items on display compared to the other museums on the area. One will also learn a lot about the Crisologo's heritage like the fact that SSS bill was introduced to congress by Rep Floro Crisologo which eventually gave birth to the Social Security Law.

Less busy during Saturday. Beautiful house of a political family.

Everything from the Crisologo Family was well preserved. History at its best.Entrance fee rather they call it a donation is very cheap , less than 2 euros per head.

From galleon trade during spanish colonial times to post American Philippine independece politics. This house has rich historical background befitting of its location. A must see.

I wasnt fond of history but im fond of looking at historical/old things...and this museum has a lot. And the caretaker/owner will offer you briefing and some historical points, if you are a history buff you could probably easily relate to, but for me who isnt at least i learned a few things about the Crisologos. My visit there was like a blast to my childhood, seeing the old ways of storing/cooking food sure did strike some childhood memories. The visit to the museum would give you a glimpse of the lifestyle in the past. You can visit for free but show your appreciation of the place by donating small amount for their upkeep and electricity. And in case you have not bought souvenirs and pasalubong still they have wide varieties to choose from.

Honorable Floro Crisologo's Museum is one of the famous place when you visit Vigan. It includes all of his memorabilias such as his military terms, his success and even in his government term. It is also documented how he was executed/murdered at St. Paul Cathedral.
