The rooms were spotless, and the housekeeping staff deserves commendation for their dedication to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

What truly set my stay apart, however, was the outstanding service provided by Fhin! His helpfulness and genuine concern for the guests were evident from the beginning. Fhin went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were not only met but exceeded. Whether I had questions about scuba diving or directions on places to go, Fhin was always ready with a warm smile and valuable advice. His level of professionalism and commitment to guest satisfaction truly made our stay memorable. We were able to skipped the long line at the whale shark viewing because he helped us pre-booked our spots!

I want to express my sincere appreciation to Fhin for creating an environment where guests feel welcomed and cared for. It's rare to encounter such a combination of cleanliness and exceptional service, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a top-notch experience. Located quite close (900 m walking distance) to the whaleshark experience area and also easy to find. Ceres bus dropped us along the main road near the place at Joaquim’s Lodge and Bakery, and we also boarded Ceres bus there days later to continue our journey to Liloan Port (heading Dumaguete) just outside. Room was very clean and spacious. Fhin, the host was extremely friendly, helpful and responsive. We were taken care of upon arrival till departure and he provided a wealth of information about the surrounding area and transport options to other areas. For the whaleshark experience, he also assisted in everything from morning call, coffee, transport to the briefing area, payment and waited for us to be done before transporting us back to freshen up and a Filipino breakfast. We hope he stays around and get a raise! Without him the place has just half its value.

Hint: Recommend the coffee in the bakery. We always ordered Americano with slightly less water, strong as we liked it. Good bakery goodies for cheap prices.

Clean spacious rooms. Myself and my partner stayed here for the whale sharks. Hospitality from the owner was amazing, he took us down to the whale sharks in the morning, waited and then back to the hotel, he took care of the whole process for us to get us in quicker. Breakfast was included was delicious & then he took us to the port to catch the ferry. 100% recommend & there is a bakery shop on site with delicious cookies!!!

Staff is very accommodating to every need we had. Place is clean, comfortable and near the whale shark watching area. Definitely would recommend 👌🏻

We stayed at this place for our trip last August 2022. The place was really nice. Clean, quiet and near the whale shark attraction. The owner was also very nice and accommodating. He helped us plan our day with minimal fees. We had a great time.

Stayed here for a night to see the whale sharks in Oslob. The place is spacious and neat and covers what you need for a short stay. Breakfasts and wifi are included. The caretaker/tour guide/cook /plumber is excellent. They even have bakery. There's a restaurant close by that we went to for dinner. It's 500 meters to the whale sharks. Highly recommended.

This hotel is super close to whale shark watching. Our room had 2 beds and it was quite spacious. Clean bathroom and endless hot water in the shower (major plus as you don't always get this in The Philippines.) Filipino style breakfast was included and it was excellent. Wifi was above average. The best part of our stay though was meeting a young man named Fhin. This gentleman is the owner's nephew and boy was he super helpful! Fhin was full of positive energy and he always had a smile on his face. He charged a measly 75 php per person to drive us down to the whale shark area at 5:00am (an early departure is advised as it gets really crowded.) He then stood in line for us to register, reserved a Go Pro for us and also made sure that we were on the first boat to launch. All we had to do was sit around and relax. Thanks Fhin for a great experience!

The owner was so caring and attentive to my needs and gave my partner and I a ride down to the blue waters Sumilon port. He also made a recommendation for a good restaurant. Overall We had a great experience there. The room is simple and nice. The service is excellent. Highly recommend.

Staff Fhin is very friendly. He gave us all the information and arranged everything for Whale Shark Watching and Tumaloc Fall touring. Room condition is nice when taking circumstances in Oslob into account. Hot water, airconditioner, TV, wifi(weak) and hair dryer is available.

Perfect place where to stay for whale watching (if you really want to support this eco terrorism). Staff helped us with everything and were really humbled and kind. Room was nice and big. They also provide tasty food for perfect price. Everything was smooth there which is not typical in Philippines. I would recommend this place.

Very clean and spacious rooms good for 4 pax. Aircon is cool. Tv is also available as well as wifi, electric kettle and hair blower. Very accommodating staffs and owner. Highly recommended to stay when in Oslob. 👌🏻

We stayed there for 1 night and we came in late, the host was very nice and accommodating he picked us up from the 7 eleven and even opened his restaurant kitchen to cook for us late at night after our long day of traveling. The room was clean and cozy. They helped us to book our transport and activities. I highly recommend this place.

Joaquim's Place is just behind the Joaquim's bakehouse. We had fanstatic stay and whale watching in Oslob. The staff of the place were all really accomodating! We were able to watch the whale shark thanks to our pro guide! If you plan to visit oslob for a day just for the whale watching, I highly recommend this place⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Price is right and food was delicious! The room is big which will accommodate 4 to 5 people. Keep it up!👍
