Fantastic place!. The deers are friendly and comes to you.its like a petting zoo for deers!!! the staff are accomodating with questions. However don't expect much, no touristy facility here. Bring a hat or umbrella, lots of drinking water too, it a large space with deers! Parking is ample outside the fence with little boys offering "watch your car" service. Give them a small tip. Over all a good experience with real deers, take plenty of pictures

Salute to the provincial government of CamSur for maintaining this destination. This is close to nearby destinations. No entrance fee, only donations.

We bike our way there to Ocampo, specifically we'll head to Deer Farm, there's a lot of friendly deers, you can touch them if you want, just be careful of their long horns. However there's no entrance fee, don't expect that this place is a sure heaven thing, just expect for a real nature beauty, though surroundings were clean, fresh and poses a good nice view.

If you've been and loved Nara, Japan Ocampo deer farm is the closest thing to it. Interact among hundreds of domesticated Rusa deer 🦌. What's more amazing is that it's free. The down side is that it's hard to visit it if you don't have a car.

As of January 2023, the deer farm is temporarily closed but you can still see them from the parking area.
The ~1km access road going to the deer farm traversing rice field only fits a SUV with no oncoming vehicle.
Be ready to have some bills, as the kids around the area will flock on you asking for some money or for you to buy some crops. They seemed so happy receiving 20 to 50 peso each. :)

This place was closed when we went there. They didn't allow visitors because they said the deers are still stressed from the recent typhoon. But when we said that we drove all the way there from Manila, they allowed us to enter and feed the deers. :)

The locals are very friendly and its free to enter. as of to day June 11, 2022 you cannot enter and play with the deer due to safety reasons but you can still feed and touch them by the fence.

There is only one way allowed at a time for outgoing and incoming vehicles through the road going here. The entrance for vehicles is though especially if there is no barangay officers to assist. Radioing each other from the other side of the road. Most of the time, there is. There are no entrance fee. The deers are highly domesticated and used to people. Though you are not allowed to touch their horns. But the deer have no problem being touched in head or back lightly. They seem to just ignore it. I saw some other tourist accidentally pulled the horn but the deer just slowly backed away.

Although the place is a bit smelly (but understandble) because of thr deers, it’s a very good place to unwind and overlooking the mountains.
It was an easy drive going to deer farm in Ocampo, Cam Sur (Bicol region). About 35.7 km from the city proper, Naga city.
The place is an open area, right at the foot of Mt Isarog. If you opt to visit the farm, just make sure to bring an umbrella and apply sunscreen (if you are afraid of getting burned by the sun).
The deers are very friendly, they are raised in captivity and are domesticated animals. But, of course be cautious when you have small kids since deers have antlers.
All in all, it was a great experience.:)
The Deer Sanctuary at the foot of Mt. Isarog is a magical place where people can come close to these gentle animals. They are friendly and are used to human presence. The wide open space and the spectacular view adds to the charm of the place. Visitors must come with their tummies full as there are no food establishments on the place or a place to picnic and eat. No entrance fee but a donation of any amount is appreciated by the caretakers of the farm.
Situated about four kilometers up in Mt. Isarog, this 28-hectare farm is considered as the original reindeer farm of the Philippines. It was stocked entirely with Australian species such as Blackbuck Antelope, Fallow Deer, Chital Deer, Red Deer, and Elk.
Owned by the Camarines Sur government, it was started late in 1996 with only 208 heads of five species from Australia. As of today, the number remains at 220 heads. Its goal was to make the province a supplier of deer meat (venison), which is a delicacy in class restaurants. While the hides can be used as material for bags belts and other goods, and the antlers can be extracted for medicinal value. The area itself is beautiful and located at an elevated portion near the forests of Mt. Isarog that is cool and breezy.
Rusa Deer
Rusa deer are tropical deer that originated from Asia. They are usually considered as medium size deer. Rusa deer are used principally for venison production and also produce velvet antler.
Their coat color varies, from reddish brown to dark brown during the dry season to dull grey brown during the wet season. Their brisket and belly is colored greyish white to beige.
The gestation of a fawn is about 220 days, and most fawns are born in March and April. Like other deer, Rusa grow a new set of antlers each year. Each stag has its own antler cycle, with most antlers being cast from December to January and harden in time for the breeding season from June to October.
Pacific Santa’s will be entering an exclusive management agreement with the provincial government to micro-manage and promote the farm, so please “like”, give it a five-star review and post there.

Deer farm itself is good, but the passage is narrow and can only fit one vehicle at a time. Low suspension vehicles would have a difficult time.
No entrance fee.
No bags allowed.
Deers are gentle, clean, and does not smell bad.
Bring umbrellas.

We had some trouble getting into the area due to the narrow road leading to the farm. We came late in the afternoon under stormy weather, but the caretakers were very kind and willing to let us in and assist us. You could actually touch the deers and take good photos of them. No fees were collected from us.
