Kapeng Mainit Tagaytay

We had the best coffee to start our day. It's just a short walk from the summit. This place was recommended by people, and when we arrived, we initially thought it was a small cafe. However, we later discovered that it has a ground floor, and it's even more spacious and picturesque than we expected. We really enjoyed their brownies and cookies.

A great pit stop for breakfast, or maybe like us who had coffee after lunch, either way, the place is cozy, the coffee is brewed well.

This is a nice cafe that's pet-friendly and not too crowded. The place has a homey feel to it. We ordered the egg waffle with ice cream, classic cheese pizza, iced kapeng barako, and tsoknut hot chocolate. All of them tasted great, but the pizza was something else and reminded me of my favorite pizza place in Baguio! Serving time was also quick. Highly recommended place for those looking for an intimate place to hang out aside from Starbucks.

Beautiful ambience. Cheese pizza was delicious! Tsoknut hot chocolate was the bomb. Tapa and pork adobo were nice and tender. The bulalo was also tender and flavorful.

Staff were polite, friendly, and accommodating. My family had a really pleasant time. Will definitely recommend!

The place is instagramable and has nice ambiance. You can have fun with their jenga and monopoly board game. The food is excellent (very delicious) and they are very generous in every order. The staff is so friendly and approachable. This cafe is highly recommendable! 🤍

Now one of my favorite places to eat in Tagaytay. I have been to most of the better restaurants in the area but Kapeng Mainit even with its simple and straightforward vibe still stands out from the rest. It has this sense of familiarity that I can't quite explain but it definitely feels like home to me.

Food is great and customer service is topnotch! My favorite is their tsoknut hot chocolate and their pizza! Best pizza ever. We brought home 3 left over slices and they still tasted great even after reheating. Their jalapeno cheesecake is also uniquely delicious. It might not be for you though if you are not a fan of anything spicy.

I think this is a place I will always go back to whenever we're in Tagaytay 🥰

Nice place & food for a quick meal. You wouldn't expect a great cozy place along busy road. The dining set-up is amazing though a bit compact that is good for small group. Dont know if they offer larger place for bigger crowd.

The food we ordered was delicious and served warm. Coffee was served hot.Service was courteous and welcoming. This was highly recommended by our son who has eaten here several times already.

What I love about this place aside from the amazing food is the accommodating staff.

This is also a great place to spend any time of the day with your friends and family because of their very flexible menu.

I will definitely come back here and will recommend this to my friends and colleagues.

Chanced upon this lovely coffee place. It was raining and we didn't have an umbrella. To our surprise, one of the crew came out to help us with our orders.

We had brewed coffee, iced coffee and grilled cheese. Panalo lahat!

The grilled cheese was a pleasant surprise because it came with nachos and dips! Heaven!

Nice airy space and amazingly, despite its name, they offer some not-so-typical food like this egg waffle I got. They're pretty pricey and they deserve it because of what they can offer.

Salmon with Lemon Garlic Pasta that has an unconventional ingredients. Kid you not, it was deliciously balanced. A little citrusy from the lemon garlic, hints of chili-capers-green&black olives. That complements the good old oily salmon very well. Enjoyed the meal without overwhelming my palate. Not to mention a huge half slice bread the size of my face that comes with the pasta. Perfectly toasted not dry bread texture for pasta. Le husband loved his Pomodoro. He devoured it in a few minutes. Plain Beignet is awesome! Hints of Banana on it. Everything was given hot and fresh. This may be an acquired taste to others especially the Kape Salabat. I will order all above over and again. The wait is totally worth our time. Accommodating staff that will patiently walk you through the menu. Because they have a lot to offer. Such as Pizzas, Pastas, Bread, Beignet, Cakes other Pastries, All Day Breakfast and other Rice Meals, Desserts, Coffee (Barako) and Teas (Salabat), Hot Chocolate and other hot or cold beverages for your liking. So pleased with the taste and execution of everything we ordered. l would love to try other items on the menu.

Our favorite go-to place to eat in Tagaytay City. We love the cozy feel of the place, plus the fact that it's small and comfortable. The food is tasty, too, with an interesting menu. We've had the Tapa 2.0 and kimchi rice, and the pork adobo meal--yummy! The coffee is strong and powerful, enough to give you that much-needed kick for a new day.

Small cafe that packs a punch! The offerings are pretty posh. Unassuming with "Kapeng Mainit" but offerings are like Egg Waffles, specialty burgers, and some other French items.

The place and food is exceptional.. They exceeded our expectation in terms of service, food and place.. 10/10 ❤❤

By the far the best cafe in Tagaytay. Quiet but not too isolated. Friendly staff and madam chef makes excellent beignet and anchovy/garlic pizza. The cold kapeng barako is better than any cold brew I have tasted.
