Told the guard I will be doing foreign exchange and deposit. Since this is my first time to do a fx transaction in bpi, didnt know that the process was different. As per usual, i got BEA number. Waited for atleast 30 minutes to be called, then when it is my turn the teller told me that fx should be done in customer service. Told her I wanted to change my dollars first because I need to deposit the peso to my account aside from the 10k peso I have which I deposited also. She proceeded with the deposit of 10k and asked me for -a charge which is 50. (I'm aware that there's a charge if the amount is this small) She then told me to get a new number from the guard for the customer service. I did. But then still waited 30 mins. I didn't get to finish my transaction. I was so upset with the service, it's alright to wait but if in the door the guard would have informed me and gave me a number for the customer service, it would be alright. The service here is nothing compared to the branches in the metro, especially the ones in makati.

Appalling Experience with BPI Tagaytay: A Saga of Incompetence and Frustration
I feel compelled to share what can only be described as a nightmare encounter with BPI, specifically the branch located in Tagaytay, situated right along the roundabout. Brace yourself for a tale that will surely infuriate you as much as it did me.
1. **The Quest for Cash**: It all began when I arrived in Tagaytay from Nasugbu with no cash on hand. Yes, GCash wasn't an option on the bus, and I urgently needed some money. My initial instinct was to withdraw from the nearest ATM. However, my luck was not on my side that day. Here's a rundown of the ATM situation:
- AUB: Closed.
- BDO: Closed.
- EastWest: Offline.
- PSBank: Offline.
- BPI: Also offline!
2. **Into the Branch**: Armed with my ATM card and identification, I decided to brave the branch. To my dismay, the automated queue manager was out of order, so I was assigned a 'manual' number and had to wait for my turn. To make matters worse, they were prioritizing those already in the queue before the system hiccupped. After what felt like an eternity, my number was finally called, around 3:40 PM.
3. **The Jaw-Dropping Request**: I approached the teller's window with my ID, withdrawal form, and ATM card, all set to withdraw a small amount, just enough for my fare from Tagaytay to Cavite. I candidly explained that I had already attempted withdrawals from several ATMs in the vicinity, enduring the scorching sun while toting my overnight backpack. This is where the situation took a bizarre turn.
4. **The Silang Detour**: The teller nonchalantly informed me that I needed to go to the Silang branch to withdraw my money. Silang was not exactly a stone's throw away; it required a jeepney ride that could take an additional 30 minutes to an hour. Moreover, there was no guarantee that the Silang branch would be open for withdrawals or that their ATMs would cooperate. I stressed that my reason for withdrawal was my absolute lack of cash, resorting to spare change. Unless they intended to provide me with jeep/bus fare, which seemed highly unlikely, this was simply unacceptable.
5. **Defiance and Frustration**: At this point, my patience was waning rapidly, and I could feel the heat rising in my ears and anger overtaking my tired expression. My voice remained calm, but my words verged on less-than-friendly as I insisted that I would not leave the branch without my withdrawal. I offered every conceivable identification to verify my identity, including additional IDs and even demonstrated that I could access the BPI app. I couldn't fathom what further proof they needed to authorize my withdrawal.
6. **The Call to the Manager**: In a last-ditch effort, I requested to speak with the manager. After some delay, the manager contacted the Silang branch and conducted a signature verification via video call with one of their tellers. This excruciating process took an additional 15 minutes or more before my withdrawal was finally granted. Remarkably, neither the teller nor the manager saw fit to offer an apology for the ordeal I had endured.
7. After what felt like an eternity, I left the branch, deeply disgruntled by the experience. However, my overwhelming desire was to put this day behind me and finally head home.
In summary, my encounter with BPI Tagaytay was nothing short of a disaster. Despite having my actual ATM card and multiple forms of identification, including digital access to my account, I was subjected to a baffling and unnecessary ordeal. The absence of a formal apology only added insult to injury. So, if anyone tries to excuse this deplorable service by blaming system issues, let it be known that I am well aware of the possibility of LATE POSTING AFTER VERIFICATION. BPI Tagaytay's performance that day was nothing short of a disgrace, leaving me, and potentially others, with an indelible mark of frustration and anger.

IF ONLY I COULD RATE THIS BRANCH 0…. Deposit machine got offline midway when I was using it then ate my money and failed to deposit into my account. Staff told ME to file a report for THEIR defective machine and told me my money will be credited only after 5 banking days. I had to wait 2 hours to even file a report. They even let other people cut the line. And my god they work so slow as if their clients have all day to wait. JUST GO TO ANOTHER BRANCH AND DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. TRASH.

Slow service with long queue for customer service. Even if your transaction is only claiming a card. It took me 45 mins just to get inside the branch, still need to queue inside.

Very slow service, worsened by the pandemic. The line doesn't move at all, and you're left outside in the scorching heat.
