My cousin in-law John took us to the amazing place, Apag Marangle, bringing up exotic dishes in conversation from a long drive starting from Camaya Coast. I thought he was kidding at first... what? crispy crickets? frog legs? Are you kidding me?

Hesitant at first, and when in Rome, right? Let's do this, I took a bite of the cripsy crickets and sure enough it wasn't anything that I imagined. I actually enjoyed it along with the frog's leg.

All other traditional Filipino meals were something to die for, including the yummiest Leche Flan. Wow!!!

The only critic I can saw is watch out for a rocking dining table, it wasn't pleasant to eat on.

The staff were friendly and efficient in their service. We appreciated their suggestions, like 'it'll take 20 minutes', at least we know what and when to expect it.

You must go here!

I can’t be a judge of what’s a legit kapampangan dish but their food lives up to what you would expect from a restaurant in the culinary capital. Everything was well prepared and tasty. Perfectly seasoned. Nothing is too salty or bland. Every bite from every dish all I can hear from my companions is “ang sarap”.

The atmosphere is nice, what most people now would say “aesthetic”.

The staff were welcoming.

Location is nice that they are just beside the national road going to bataan and subic, which was perfect at that time because sctex was closed. There’s also plenty of parking spaces.

It’s good that they accept card payments which is not typical in provinces

Superb and delectable Kapampangan cuisine, nothing fancy and pretentious, but uses great locally sourced ingredients for their dishes. It makes me feel like i come home to a fiesta in my family's hometown and im welcomed by all these delicious dishes.

First, the staff is amazing! As we walked in the staff greeted and welcomed us as if we were part of their family. They speak English, Kapampangan (local dialect), and Tagalog (national language of the Philippines.)
When asked for food recommendations, all their suggestions was considered and we ordered it. The food was delicious and well presented. It didn’t take long to get our food...approximately 20 minutes.
After eating, the staff asked if we want to take home the rest of the leftovers and packed it up for us. This is a plus, because most restaurants give you bags/boxes and let you do it yourself.
Hospitality and courtesy of the staff is 100% five-star rating for me. Food that’s another 5-star rating.
My one complaint is the road going in and out of the restaurant is narrow and should be widened to allow both inbound and outbound traffic to pass.
Other than that, they serve local delicacies that are delicious and the staff is awesome at their jobs. Thank you and dakal salamat!

We were supposed to go to their Branch at Marquee Mall but ended up at their Main Branch. The Floating Huts were under renovation so we were shown to the Function Hall. Staff were friendly. The Menu was extensive. Our wait was probably around 20 to 25 minutes but it was WORTH it as the food was DELICIOUS!! Price is affordable, Staff were efficient and friendly. Definitely a very Filling and Delicious Lunch!

I love the food here, my family became a regular customer.

The dish are healthy, No MSG, not salty, and taste like farm to table kind of food. After dining, I didn't felt sleepy. That means they use all natural flavors and ingredients, no chemical, no flavorings.

I felt like Sunday even we went here on a regular day.

The vibe is one of a kind, maybe that's what makes it kapampangan. The music makes it nostalgic of my lolo and lola's genre.

All the staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. As I am from manila who doesn't know about their local dish.

I highly recommend this place if they want to try kapampangan dish that is all fresh and natural flavors.

I miss the old fishpond setting but the taste is still as delicious as ever. They still serve the best burong hipon (fermented shrimp) and taba ng talangka (crab eggs/roe) with sisig, tilapia, and itik.

This restaurant offers eating inside a kubo (hut) "floating" from a miniature lake. It gets a little hot especially during lunch time at summer. If you opt not to dine in the kubos, they also have an air-conditioned area good for 40-50 pax. The food prices are perfect for the taste they offer. You will really taste the flavor Pampanga is best-known for. The food has a very rich flavor and are very tasty. For those who are adventurous enough, they also offer balut (duck eggs) which is a famous exotic food in the Philippines.

Please take note though that the entrance going to the restaurant is a small street (can fit 1 car at a time) and is on a downhill (from the highway). There are enough parking space though.

A family friendly road side restaurant serving the best of Pampanga. Located exactly at the corner of a bridge and an avenue, Apag Marangle offers alfresco dining with a view. Food was tasty and fresh. Reasonable pricing with courteous and friendly staff. Will definitely come back when we're in Pampanga again!

Delicious food. Recommended for those who wants to taste authentic Pampanga food made from scratch. :) Waiting time for orders: 30-45minutes or you can call ahead so that they can prepare the food. Lesser waiting time.

You can go around the place to see the lake behind it. Full of lush greens.

Apag Marangle literally translates to 'eating by the farm' (correct me if i'm wrong).
